Sandeman Vintage 2018 Ruby
Deep, almost opaque color. Aroma of excellent complexity, with notes of spices, adding curry, pepper, ginger, red fruits and black fruits. The wine has a light touch of cocoa with a slightly stony finish, the result of good maturation. In the mouth it is intense and complex with a lively acidity, firm and well present tannins with a very long and highly concentrated finish. Contains sulfites.
Sandeman Vintage 2016 Ruby
Outstanding for its exceptional features, the Sandeman Porto Vintage 2016 is a wine that will age in the bottle for 30 or 40 years. This excellent Vintage Porto 2016 is an example of Sandeman's commitment to the quality of Port wine. This wine has an opaque, almost black color. The aroma is intense and complex, with prominent notes of ripe black fruit, resin as well as notes of cocoa and chocolate as a result of its excellent maturation. Great volume on the palate with a vibrant, fresh acidity, firm, high-quality tannins, floral notes of stew and notes of black fruit and chocolate. A great invitation for the very long and elegant finale. Using the traditional technology of Port Wine, this wine was vinified in the Quinta do Seixo winery, grapes originating both there and in Quinta do Vau. In addition to the selection process, the grapes were subjected to crushing and stalking before undergoing a very intense maceration during alcoholic fermentation, by treading on granite wineries at controlled temperatures automatically. The balance and harmony of this wine, as well as its body and structure, result from the selection of the best grapes, the intensity of the maceration and the choice of the right moment to stop the fermentation. Sandeman Founders Reserve Ruby
In honor of the Founder, this Reserve is one of the largest Ports of Sandeman. Selected from the best 'lots' of each vintage and aged for 5 years. Full of power, fruit and fire that distinguishes the classic Porto, the Sandeman Porto Founder's Reserve is the culmination of two hundred years of experience. Intense ruby ??red color, bright and clean. Aromas rich in red fruits with a touch of age create an elegant reflection of powerful flavors, the fruit and the fire characteristic of the young Porto classic, balanced with the delicacy of age. The Founder's Reserve of this Port is produced by the traditional method of Port Wine. The grapes harvested are subjected to stem removal and crushing before fermentation, under temperature control, with maceration of the skin, in order to extract the best components. The addition of wine to alcohol at the ideal time establishes the balance between the body and the bouquet of wine. This moment is chosen by the oenologist after rigorous control of fermentation temperatures and densities, the second depends on the grape variety, the stage of maturation and the final sweetness required. Quinta da Romaneira Vintage 2018 Ruby
It is aged in Portuguese and Brown oak casks for a period of 24 months. The grapes are trampled on foot in the Quinta's mills to obtain the must. They are then macerated during fermentation to obtain the best possible extraction of the polyphenolic components. Short fermentation cycle of 4 days. Quinta da Romaneira Vintage 2018, is magnificently mature, full of color, intensely fruity, expressive and with a wonderful underlying freshness. The nose is characteristic of Romaneira, wild and aromatic. The finish is long and delicate. Contains sulfites.
Quinta da Romaneira Rose
Its pink color results from the direct pressing of red grapes at a precise point of maturation. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures for three weeks. All wine is aged in stainless steel vats for a period of 5 months. No wood is used during this training period. This wine has a bright and deep pink color. In the mouth, its structure is supported by intense aromas and flavors of red fruits. Its very integrated acidity propels the wine to a delicious finish. Contains sulfites.
Quinta da Romaneira Vintage 2017 Ruby
It aged for 20 months in the cellars of Quinta, in the demarcated Douro region, before bottling. It should age in bottle for 8 to 15 years to acquire the complexity and bouquet characteristic of a vintage. The grapes were trodden and fermented in the Quinta da Romaneira presses with temperature controlled at 28 C, where an intense and disciplined step is essential for a good final result. This 2017 Vintage Port Wine is a supreme expression of this characteristic. It is a seductive wine, full of charm and wonderfully expressive, with remarkable structure and aging potential. Deep ruby purple color, intense aromatic personality with spices. Great elegance and purity of fruit flavors, velvety fleshy tannins with a very long and powerful finish.
Quinta da Romaneira Touriga Franca / Syrah Red
This wine is the result of the unique combination of the Touriga Franca grape variety, one of the noblest grape varieties of the Douro, with Syrah, the great breed of the Rhôneb that has adapted very well to the "terroir" of the Douro valley. Quinta da Romaneira Reserva Magnum Red
Fresh and elegant, this wine of intense but delicate tannins expresses the whole character of the Romaneira vineyards. It has soft notes of licorice, which come from the wild indigo plants that exist in Romaneira. On the palate reveals intense fruit and a wild character, marked by spices. Contains Sulfites.
