Aloxe-Corton has been the home of the Latour family and the heart of the Domaine Louis Latour for centuries. The village of Aloxe-Corton is located in the north of the Côte de Beaune, on a slope of Corton hill. Traditional fermentation in open vats, aged for 10 to 12 months in oak barrels. This Aloxe-Corton "Domaine Latour" offers an intense and deep ruby color. Notes of cherry and licorice are subtly revealed. Drappier Clarevallis White
Clarevallis is the name given by Saint Bernard to the abbey he founded in 1115. Champagne Clarevallis is made with grapes from the hills of Urville, planted during the Cistercian period. The wines were vinified and aged in cellars built in 1152 by the monks of the abbey of Clairvaux: today, the cellars are owned by the Drappier family. Unfiltered, with very little sulfur (20 mg/l), the dosage used contains a liqueur made from organic sugar cane at 4g/l. A golden gray color with fine, persistent bubbles. Touches of elderberry and violet. The limestone minerality is softened by the pinot pulp. A harmonious balance between discreet dosage and lovely bitter flavors.
