Herdade Grande Gerações Red
Produced from grapes harvested manually and selected with rigor. The fermentation took place in stainless steel mills, of small dimensions with temperature control in order to preserve all the aromatic elegance. After the fermentation it staged in 4 types of oak barrels during 12 months and the same period in the bottle. Of course, garnet color, the nose features an intense profile aroma, suggesting ripe fruit with soft wood notes and spice notes. The palate shows the full-bodied and well-balanced acidity, with robust and good tannins combined with long and elegant final finish. Contains Sulfites.
Herdade Grande AML 70 Reserva Red
The passion for wine and the ties to her land - Vidigueira - motivated the creation of the Herdade Grande brand. At age 70, Antonio Lança consolidates 20 years of stories around wine. On March 3, 2016, his wife and three daughters took their birthday to present it with the AML 70. This blend of alicante Bouschet and Touriga Franca, rigorously selected, staged 24 months in French oak barrels. Visually their violet reflections are well highlighted by their deep and concentrated ruby color. In the nose it is full of very mature fruit, with suggestive notes of jelly and compotes of fruits of forest. With good volume in the mouth, good freshness, distinguished by its round and balanced set, with well integrated soft tannins, providing a long finish, where the fruity character reappears in the retro nasal aroma. Herdade Grande Colheita Selecionada Red
Night mechanical vintage. Total destemming followed by cold passage through a mass exchanger. Fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. After fermentation 50% of the blend is aged in French oak barrels for 9 months. Intense color and captivating nose, with notes of spices, earth and tobacco, in a rich base of black cherry, cassis and blueberry jam. Rich, round, juicy, in the mouth it offers black cherry, red fruits and subtle notes of caramel and sweet oak. The enormous classic structure of the tannin and firm acidity persist until a spicy finish. Contains sulfites.

Catarina Red
50% of wine passes through Madeira de Carvalho francês, for a period of more than 6 months. Very deep, very rich and concentrated aromas. Notes of vermilion fruits combined with toasted nuances and baked berries are integrated on a firm and elegant structure. Complex and long, with aging potential. Count me sulfites.
Bacalhôa Alicante Bouschet Red

After harvest, the grapes are collected in the cellar and sent to the cold rooms, where the temperature is controlled up to 10oC for 12 hours. The bunches are then stalked and the grapes broken. Partially fermented in frustoconical stainless steel tanks and French oak vats. After the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the stage partially runs for 7 months in French oak barrels of the Seguin Moreau brand (medium - fine grain), until bottling. The bottle stage occurs for at least 12 months. Contains Sulfites.
Blog Bivarietal Red
In 2015 we enjoyed long and slow maturations that our older strains and our best plots have taken advantage of to provide grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. The two grape varieties that benefited most with the exceptional goodness of nature were Syrah and Alicante Bouschet, providing grapes in perfect maturity. With raw material so good we prefer to work them little, letting the grapes speak for themselves. That's why we did little more than one walk on our wineries, according to the most traditional methods of the region, followed by a stage in new barrels and barrels of second year of French oak, letting the wine express itself in the purest form .
Very fleshy red color. Tense and closed, concentrated and powerful, floral and fruity, it ends with some earthy notes that add complexity. Silky and velvety in texture, it is an intense and structured red, vigorous but not aggressive, complex and elegant, fresh finish and great guarding potential.
