After malolactic fermentation the wines were tranferred separately to new barrels (60%) and 4 years (40%) of French oak, where they trained for about 12 months until the final batch. After bottling, a temperature controlled stage of 15ºC is followed for 6 months in order to achieve the appropriate balance for its consumption. To preserve its great quality, it was bottled without treatment by the cold and without glue so that a slight deposit can form in the bottle. The elegance and balance of the Herdade do Peso Essência 2014 make this wine the perfect accompaniment to the tasty meat dishes of the rich Alentejo gastronomy.

At 13 o'clock on January 19, 1919, the blue and white flag was unfurled, in a revolutionary act of reinstatement of the monarchy, previously abolished in 1910. Created for its restoration, the Tostões currency would make succession to the Kings. The duration of this regime was only 2 months once the revolution failed and the republic was reimplanted on February 23, 1919. A magnificent blend of the vineyards Alicante Bouschet, Aragonês, Touriga Nacional and Syrah. It is a balanced, full-bodied and persistent wine with a strong expressive character.

In 2015 we enjoyed long and slow maturations that our older strains and our best plots have taken advantage of to provide grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. The two grape varieties that benefited most with the exceptional goodness of nature were Syrah and Alicante Bouschet, providing grapes in perfect maturity. With raw material so good we prefer to work them little, letting the grapes speak for themselves. That's why we did little more than one walk on our wineries, according to the most traditional methods of the region, followed by a stage in new barrels and barrels of second year of French oak, letting the wine express itself in the purest form . Very fleshy red color. Tense and closed, concentrated and powerful, floral and fruity, it ends with some earthy notes that add complexity. Pintia is located on the banks of the Douro River, within the denomination Toro. Alión Red
Prepared from the Tinto Fino grape variety, Alión Tinto is a truly unique wine. The grapes are harvested manually in 12 kg boxes and immediately transported to the cellar, where they are meticulously selected.
Fermentation is carried out in wooden vats with temperature control, allowing excellent extraction of polyphenols. This process gives the wine its generous color and firm structure, characteristics that define its unique personality.
After fermentation, Alión Tinto is aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak Bordeaux barrels, all new and from the most prestigious cooperages in Bordeaux. This step represents a significant investment, ensuring that each harvest benefits from the best oak.
Once bottled, the wine rests for at least 15 months, allowing the primary aromas of the fruit to merge harmoniously with the nuances acquired during aging. The result is a fleshy, complex and intense wine, where elegance stands out as the true signature of the winery.
Cistus Touriga Nacional Red
Vinification was carried out in stainless steel vats with temperature control. After a short post-fermentative maceration, the blend was aged in new French oak barrels (15 months). The batch underwent slight filtration before bottling, so that with aging in the bottle, it may form a deposit. Contains sulfites!
Tradicion Fino
This is a wine in full maturation, the result of a long aging under “flower” - a veil of yeasts, in American oak barrels by the solera and criaderas system. Very dry, it shows saltiness, complexity, intensity and length that are difficult to compare, offering a long persistence in the mouth. This is a rare kind of fine, pure, serious and traditional. Vineyards installed in red soils derived from brown or crystalline limestones, with shale spots, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with high thermal amplitudes and hot and dry summers. After the green interventions required during the growing cycle, the grapes were manually harvested and transported to the winery in small boxes. After malolatic fermentation, the wine partially aged for 12 months in 2. and 3. year French and American oak barrels. After bottling it rested in bottle for 2 months in our basement. To preserve all its qualities, this wine has not been stabilized, it can naturally create a deposit. Clear wine, violet red, aromas of cherry, blackberry, spices and floral notes. Structured, balanced and voluminous, with full body and persistent finish. Contains Sulfites.

The grapes are selected on the selection table, destemmed, followed by pre-fermentative maceration. Fermentation takes place in a mill and stainless steel vat with temperature control. After the malolactic fermentation stage, the wine aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels and second year French and American oak barrels. After bottling, it rested in a bottle in our cellar for 20 months. In order to preserve all of its qualities, it has not been stabilized and can naturally create deposits. Titan of Douro Fragmentado Red
Fresh grapes at their ideal point of maturation, picked by hand into 20 kg boxes, are transported to the cellar where they were subjected to a careful manual selection.
