Quinta do Fojo, located on the picturesque left bank of the Pinhão Valley, is the birthplace of the exceptional Quinta do Fojo Red 2017. This wine is produced exclusively from the property's vineyards, which extend over 4 hectares planted in 1986, with a mix of grape varieties where Tinta Roriz predominates.
The Mediterranean climate, combined with the schist soil and the altitude between 250m and 370m, provides the ideal conditions for the production of superior quality wine. Grapes de-stemmed and fermented in a press with manual treading. Malolactic fermentation and prolonged aging for 20 months in new barrels (50%) using French oak. Wine stabilized naturally during aging in barrels. 3650 bottles were produced. Delicate aromas of ripe red fruit and light floral notes. Mediterranean bush, cedar, wood, mocha, spice and moss add aromatic complexity. In the mouth it proves to be an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting well the limestone soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously a deep, structured and complex wine, with a long finish, the result of the prolonged aging in barrels to which it was subjected. Contains sulfites.
Alameda de Santar Parcelas Red

This wine is produced exclusively from Touriga Nacional grapes, an identity red variety of the Dão region. Grapes harvested manually, transported in 20 kg boxes to the winery located on the farm, with a very short transport time. Total destemming and fermentation in stainless steel vats at around 22ºC. Aging for 24 months in used French oak barrels, followed by aging in stainless steel for 12 months and 6 months in bottle. Touriga Nacional reveals all its finesse and elegance in this wine, with a discreet barrel involving notes of wild fruit, floral notes and delicate citrus. The taste is light and sophisticated, fruity and very fresh, thanks to the good acid balance. A classic Dão, with polished tannins and great freshness, full of character and a sense of origin. Contains sulfites.
Herdade dos Grous Reserva Red

After manual selection, the film of the grapes is removed and they are then squeezed and inserted into the open press. After cold maceration for two days, the must ferments under permanent temperature control. The wine is then placed to mature for 12 months in French wooden barrels. Deep live garnet color.
