Fermented in stone wine cellar with temperature control. The malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. It aged for a year in half barrels of French Oak and later in a year in bottle. If stored in good condition has great possibilities to improve for a few more years. It presents a loaded garnet color, intense aroma, complex, fruity, an excellent combination of natural aromas characteristic of the caste Castelão. Fresh, deep and with a great volume of mouth. Long and aromatic finish. Contains Sulfites.

Vineyards aged 23 years. Manual harvest into 20 kg boxes. Grape selection on the sorting table. Total destemming and light pressing where the must was obtained by the open spout process. Subsequently decanted statically at low temperature for a period of 24 hours. Partial fermentation of 15% in used Hungarian oak barrels and 85% in stainless steel vats at a constant temperature of 16ºC for a period of 21 days. Natural aging in contact with fine lees for 20 months in stainless steel vats, followed by aging in the bottle for 9 months. Minimal intervention. Medium pale color, straw hue. Delicate aroma of orange blossom combined with white stone fruit. In the mouth it has a long finish, with a balanced volume.
