The grapes that make up this wine come from old vines planted in schist soil at an average altitude of 350 to 400 meters in the region between Freixo de Espada à Cinta and Barca d'Alva, in the Douro Superior. The grapes that give rise to this wine come from old vines with exposure to the Northeast and East. Hand picking vintage. Fermentation made by grape varieties and with separation at origin to improve the rigor in the selection of the final blend that gives rise to this wine. Fermentation takes place in small-capacity stainless steel vats, with a controlled temperature of around 28ºC. Controlled maceration in order to obtain an aromatic, concentrated and elegant wine, at a level close to a Reserve. Aging for 6 months in French oak barrels. The Arribas do Douro Superior wine is a wine with the character of the Douro Superior. It has an aroma of ripe red fruits, spices, with elegant notes of vanilla originating from the barrel stage. Firm and pleasant tannins. Contains sulfites.

Pacheca Grande Reserva Touriga Nacional Red

This wine is obtained exclusively from the Touriga Nacional variety from a 32-year-old plot installed at an altitude of 140 meters. After careful selection for their best condition, the grapes were harvested in boxes of 25 kg and sent to the winery where they were totally destemmed. Fermentation took place during 9 days in traditional 7-ton granite stone tanks with stepping and soft reassembly for leaching by blanket and extraction of phenolic and aromatic compounds. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine was transferred to new French oak barrels where the malolactic fermentation took place and aged for about 18 months. Pacheca Touriga Nacional is an elegant wine with good aromatic intensity, notes of bergamot and violet with well integrated wood. In the mouth it reveals good structure, round tannins, freshness and a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.
Quinta do Gradil Reserva Red

Manual winemaking, carefully selected and 100% destemmed in the cellar. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 25ºC. After malolactic fermentation, it aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. Ruby color, wood berries, complex aromas with refined mint notes. full-bodied palate, perfectly matched tannins in balance with its acidity showing promising development in the coming years. deep and long finish. Manual harvest and then transported in pallets. Partial fermentation in stainless steel vats, finished in old oak casks. Stage in the same hulls for 20 months. The bright yellow hue immediately catches the eye! It presents an aromatic complexity where there is a mix of floral, with dominance of white flowers, and ripe fruity yellow pulp and dehydrated fruit. In the mouth the notes of toasted wood take to another dimension, warmer and more complex, always accompanied with a beautiful acidity and surrounding volume. Final with an intoxicating freshness!
