Located at 400 meters of altitude, a small village called Martim is surrounded by old vineyards of the Douro, each with its own soul. Soil, sun exposure, slope, altitude, age, mixture of grape varieties all influence the character of the wine resulting from these grapes. The Martim vineyard is part of a special plot, fermented in new French oak barrels for 9 months until bottling. Simply brilliant, this emphasizes your zing and zest in your youth, your core of acidity beautifully supporting the fruit. The fermentation was carried out in stainless steel, with 25% of stalks and the period of contact between the solid and liquid part, lasted for 5 weeks, in a delicate process, with a very light maceration with little extraction. Turris aged for 20 months in two 1,000-liter kites, over 60 years old. The wine was bottled without glue or filtration. The young and intense color, slightly open, leads to a deep, markedly mineral and crystalline aroma. Impresses by purity and finesse, with red, fresh fruit, and a spring floral. In the mouth it is fresh, silky but with great tension. The combined elegance of minerality and tannic structure shows a unique complexity. Quinta do Crasto Touriga Franca Red

The grapes, from the best plots of Touriga Franca at Quinta do Crasto, were transported in boxes of 22 kg capacity and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, a soft pressing was carried out. Quinta do Crasto Touriga Franca 2016 aged in French oak barrels where it remained for 18 months. It has a deep violet color. On the nose, it impresses with its intensity and concentration of red fruit aromas in perfect harmony with soft floral notes. In the mouth tasting it presents an intense start, evolving into an elegant profile wine, with excellent volume of mouth and silky texture tannins, all very well integrated with notes of red fruits. It ends in perfect balance, with an extraordinary persistence and full of freshness. A wine that perfectly reflects the identity of the variety. Contains sulfites.
