Lovely spice in the finish. It's not Warre's most stereotypical style of wine. Powerful finish. Almost muscled with some fruit and wild flower flavors on the nose.

Textura da Estrela Red comes from 3 different vineyard plots, all of them in Vila Nova de Tazem (Serra da Estrela sub-region). In 2018, it was a lot composed of Vinha Velha (35%), Touriga Nacional (30%), Jaen (20%) and Alfrocheiro (15%). Vineyards aged 25 to 60 years in granitic soils, treated sustainably and without herbicides, have been converting to organic certification since 2020. On the 25th and 26th of September, the grapes were hand-picked, which after fermenting in stainless steel vats with 35 % whole bunch, stayed in cuvaison for 30 days of.
