The grapes were harvested very early, before the painter, to ensure acidity and natural freshness. They were hand-picked into small boxes in order to preserve their quality. Part of the batch was fermented and aged in 500 liter used barrels. Pale pink color. Fine and delicate aroma. This wine comes from selected grapes in the oldest vineyards in the Borba region. After rigorous control of the maturation evolution of the grapes in the vineyard, upon arrival at the winery the grapes were de-stemmed and gently crushed, followed by the alcoholic fermentation process in a stainless steel press, with mechanical treading, ending in maceration for 10 days, under temperature control at 22-25ºC. Malolactic fermentation took place in a small stainless steel tank. Aging for 12 months in new French, American and brown oak barrels prior to bottling and a final aging in the cellar for 12 months in bottle. Garnet color. Aroma of black fruit jam. Full flavor with soft, fruity and toasted tannins, with final freshness and sweet cocoa.
