Quinta dos Muros M7 Red

Manual harvest. Grapes transported in pallets. Maceration in small mills at a temperature between 24 and 26ºC. Use of gravity techniques for grape movement. Aging for 22 months in new French oak casks. This is the first wine from the old vineyard plot (M7) of Quinta dos Muros. The wine that determined that this parcel should be preserved. It is the result of 27 varieties, and a lot of care and passion throughout the process. A red that deserves attention when you have it in the glass. Contains sulfites.

Rola Viosinho White
De-stemmed grapes, slightly crushed in a pneumatic press, the resulting must being decanted into 2,500 liter stainless steel vats for 24 hours. Rola Viosinho is a white wine that reveals the typicality of the grape variety. In the mouth, this wine reveals itself with an intense acidity, appearing a characteristic minerality of the variety, thus creating an extremely fresh and vibrant wine. Around 1150 bottles were produced.
Quinta de Lemos Touriga Nacional 2012 Red
Touriga Nacional, a Portuguese indigenous variety from the Dão region. This variety with a high oenological potential of a resounding bearing falls with an integrated protection program and the application of herbicides is prohibited. Harvesting is hand made, caste by caste, when the ideal maturation point is reached, usually between the second fortnight of September and the first fortnight of October. The harvest is collected in small boxes of 10 kg. These wines are obtained after fermentation at a controlled temperature in order to preserve all their aromatic elegance in large wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The wine is produced by malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and has a subsequent maturation period of 18 months to enhance its structure and complexity. Quinta de Lemos Touriga Nacional is dark concentrated, thin and elegant, balsamic, prunes and ripe blackberries, citrus. Fine wood temper the whole. Dense texture of fine tannins. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte Red
The grapes, from Vinha da Ponte, were carefully transported in food plastic boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. After treading in a traditional press, the pasta was transferred to an open stainless steel vat with automatic treading, where it fermented for a week at a controlled temperature. Aging in new 225 liter French oak barrels for 20 months. Opaque colored wine with vibrant shades of violet. Excellent complexity and aromatic intensity, where fresh aromas of wild Douro fruits stand out, in perfect harmony with elegant floral notes and soft notes of fresh spice. Elegant and enveloping mouth, which quickly evolves into a wine of great size and excellent potency, where round tannins of fine texture stand out, in perfect harmony with fresh notes of wild Douro fruits. Finished balanced and very persistent. Contains sulfites.
Dona Maria Amantis Reserva Red
It aged for 1 year in barrels of French oak (70%) and American oak (30%). Dona Maria Amantis Reserve is a dark ruby wine with a lot of luster. Very complex, mixed with various ripe wild fruits. Rich and flavored with mint, spices and red berries. Very elegant, with soft tannins and persistent finish. An acidity that conveys freshness. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta do Portal Auru 3L Red
Made of the nobility of the Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz grape varieties, planted in our best vineyards exposed to the south in the Pinhão river valley, we spent 14 months in new French oak casks. Retinto, dense, opaque and almost impenetrable, shows in the nose bright notes of ripe cassia. The tannins appear powerful in the mouth and the end reveals an absolutely remarkable persistence and intensity.
Serve at 16 - 17 ºC. Ideal to accompany red meats and cheeses. Potential of aging. Contains Sulfites.
Sidónio de Sousa Reserva Red
Crushing with destemming and cooling of the grapes in the winery in small open wineries (a tank in which the grapes are squeezed, reducing them to liquid). Where the skin maceration begins and later the fermentation, without addition of enzymes and yeasts. The step is done manually with wood masses to increase a greater extraction of the vinous characteristics of the Baga variety.
