Adega Mayor Reserva do Comendador Altitude Red

Adega Mayor Reserva do Comendador Altitude Red stands out as a winemaking jewel, coming from a distinct vineyard located at almost 800 meters above sea level, on the land of Três Lagares and São José. Covering 2.5 hectares in a terroir where white and red grape varieties coexist, this non-irrigated vineyard has adapted to the granite soil and challenging climate, producing a wine with notable aromatic complexity and unique freshness.
Manual harvesting at night avoids the Alentejo heat, followed by a careful vinification and maturation process in French oak barrels. This process culminates in a red wine of exceptional quality, with a distinctive character that stands out from other Alentejo wines, marked by its freshness, forest notes and a strong identity.

Pasmados Garrafeira White
19,07 €
This wine comes from the exclusive Quinta dos Pasmados region, in Azeitão. In 1998, the landmark decision was made to replace the Chardonnay grape variety with Viosinho, with the origin of Arinto and Esgana also being changed from clay-limestone soils to sandy soils. In 2005, with the aim of improving the complexity of the wine, the Viognier variety, cultivated in our vineyards for over 40 years, was added. Around 1999, winemaker Domingos Soares Franco came across several bottles of Pasmados White from 1963 in the cellars. Displaying a yellowish tone that testified to its natural aging, the aroma revealed evolution, remaining fine, velvety and subtly fruity. On the palate, it stands out for its pleasantness and surprisingly well structured, presenting exceptional quality and notable acidity. Inspired by this discovery, Domingos Soares Franco then decided to test the production of a Pasmados with aging potential, using the 1963 as a reference. The best vintages are stored in the cellar, small quantities of bottles being sold again years later under the almost forgotten name of Garrafeira. Also rescuing Garrafeira's classification, Pasmados Garrafeira was born. Contains sulfites.

Menin Douro’s New Legacy Reserva is a wine that has an intense ruby color, very fine aromas of sour cherry, cassis and dark chocolate, where at the same time it manifests balsamic and cherry notes, nutmeg and peppermint.
