Manual harvest in plot at 600 meters of altitude. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats, at a temperature between 15 to 18ºC. Aged with battonage in vats for 1 year in order to gain volume in the mouth and provide the wine with a natural stability, without adding external products. Bright and attractive golden color. With notes of yellow pulp fruit, it also denotes some dehydrated fruit, always on a fresh background that shows its origin well. Beautiful in the mouth, with the same notes of the nose, reaching with some more tropical notes with the opening. Long finish, allowing to perceive a mixture of sensations of freshness, minerality and honey tones. Contains sulfites.

Explore Maçanita Vale da Barca White, a wine that emerges from the historic vineyards of Carlão, in Cima Corgo, planted in granite soils at 530 meters of altitude, with 140 years of history. This wine, the result of meticulous farming and manual harvesting, is revealed through direct whole-bunch pressing and spontaneous fermentation in barrels, culminating in a 12-month aging period in neutral barrels.
In the glass, a spectacle of aromas unfolds that include ripe grapefruit, fruity nuances, Mediterranean herbs, flint and subtle spicy touches, displaying unparalleled nobility. Clear, garnet color. It has good volume, the tannins are very present, but without great aggressiveness. It has a lively acidity that gives it minerality. Intense and complex aroma, with very ripe red fruit and balsamic notes from wood, where it aged for 12 months. The finish is long, fresh and complex.
Encoberta Red

Encoberta is the name of a small town in Penalva do Castelo (Castendo sub-region), where this wine was made with its own grapes. Vineyards aged 28 years at an altitude of 460 m with granite and clay soils are being converted to organic certification since 2020. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in French oak vats and with 35% whole bunch followed by 30 days of cuvaison. Aged for 15 months in used French oak barrels and vats. Naturally stabilized. It is a very characteristic red from Dão, from Penalva do Castelo. A little more fruity, denser and more textured than Serra da Estrela wines, black fruit and spicy notes also in the mouth. Dry, some earthy character, and a slightly tannic finish. Contains sulfites.
