At 13 o'clock on January 19, 1919, the blue and white flag was unfurled, in a revolutionary act of reinstatement of the monarchy, previously abolished in 1910. Created for its restoration, the Tostões currency would make succession to the Kings. The duration of this regime was only 2 months once the revolution failed and the republic was reimplanted on February 23, 1919. A magnificent blend of the vineyards Alicante Bouschet, Aragonês, Touriga Nacional and Syrah. It is a balanced, full-bodied and persistent wine with a strong expressive character.

The grapes, from our Quinta da Cabreira, in the Douro Superior, were transported in food plastic boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. It aged in French oak barrels, where it remained for about 12 months. With a deep violet color, fresh aromas of wild Douro fruits stand out on the nose, very well integrated with soft notes of spice. Starts the mouth tasting in a harmonious way, evolving into a wine of great volume and compact structure, composed of tannins with dense texture. It ends with great elegance, freshness and persistence. Contains Sulfites.

Ruby color with violet tones, elegant aroma with good complexity, notes of chocolate, spices, ripe red fruit of good intensity, light smoked well integrated with floral notes that confer harmony. Grapes reception in the cellar in 24kg boxes. Manual selection followed by destemming, skin maceration and gentle pneumatic pressing. The must ferments in stainless steel vats at low temperature. Stabilization and light filtration. Special care was taken in the winemaking, minimizing any intervention, with the aim of producing a wine that expresses well the particularities of the grapes and terroir. Produced at Quinta de Santa Teresa, with grapes from the P70 plot, this Monólogo is a monovarieous wine with an aromatic profile, long in the mouth and persistent. These characteristics, typical of the variety, have been appreciated since ancient Greece, where Malvasia Fina comes from. On the nose we find freshness and smoky aromas, quartz and nutmeg. On the palate it is pleasant, balanced and unctuous, showing notes of granitic influence, spices and pear. Contains sulfites.
