Quinta da Rede Vinha da Seara Tinto
38,49 €
Discover the Quinta da Rede Vinha da Seara Tinto, a refined example from the Douro, Baixo Corgo sub-region. This wine, from the slopes of Marão, 450 meters high, is produced from a traditional blend of regional grape varieties, harvested in a ‘field blend’.
Vinification involves total de-stemming and prolonged pelicular maceration, followed by alcoholic fermentation in robotized lagares with temperature control at 26°C for 10 days. The wine matures for 14 months in new French oak barrels of 300 liters, gaining complexity and refinement.
With a bright ruby color, Vinha da Seara reveals an intense but fine aroma, highlighting high-quality red fruit, complemented by notes of damp earth, eucalyptus, and spices. On the palate, it is elegant and delicate, with polished tannins, a soft texture, and a freshness that promises to evolve in the bottle over decades. Ideal for pairing with lean meats like chicken or veal, it should be served between 17°C-18°C.
