With grapes from the Douro Superior, namely from a 60-year-old vineyard, from the selection of red grapes from native varieties. A wine as it used to be, with structure, body and freshness.
After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the grapes are trodden by foot in a small press. Fermentation started spontaneously and then it was pressed.
It fermented the rest of the time in used 225L barrels. Aging: 6 months used barrels. This wine has a red fruit aroma like strawberries. Fresh, light and appetizing wine. Contains sulfites.

Produced in Portalegre, northeast of Alentejo, in the granite foothills of Serra de São Mamede, where the colder temperatures, together with many old vines, give complexity and freshness. 15% of the batch fermented and aged for 4 months in new 500L French oak barrels. After manual harvesting, the grapes are transported in boxes of 18 kg capacity so as not to harm the integrity of the bunch. Once at the cellar, the boxes are unloaded onto a sorting mat for the first sorting of the grapes. This was followed by destemming, choosing berry by berry and crushing them, which are transported by gravity to stainless steel fermentation tanks. After 48 hours of pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures, alcoholic fermentation took place for 10 days where, depending on the variety and the plot, a protocol of pumping over and deletions was carried out. After malolactic fermentation, the different components aged in 225 L oak barrels for 18 months. After bottling, the wine aged for another 12 months in the bottle. It is a ruby colored wine with deep intensity. In the aroma, it presents notes of ripe black fruit, woods and balsamic nuances characteristic of the terroir of the H.O, in perfect harmony with the spicy and complex notes of the Old Vineyards. In the mouth, it presents structuring tannins balanced by the natural freshness of the wine and in harmony with the notes of aging in barrel.

The grapes, from the best plots of Touriga Franca at Quinta do Crasto, were transported in boxes of 22 kg capacity and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, a soft pressing was carried out. Quinta do Crasto Touriga Franca 2016 aged in French oak barrels where it remained for 18 months. It has a deep violet color. On the nose, it impresses with its intensity and concentration of red fruit aromas in perfect harmony with soft floral notes. In the mouth tasting it presents an intense start, evolving into an elegant profile wine, with excellent volume of mouth and silky texture tannins, all very well integrated with notes of red fruits. It ends in perfect balance, with an extraordinary persistence and full of freshness. A wine that perfectly reflects the identity of the variety. Contains sulfites.
