With grapes from the Douro Superior, namely from a 60-year-old vineyard, from the selection of red grapes from native varieties. A wine as it used to be, with structure, body and freshness.
After manual harvesting, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the grapes are trodden by foot in a small press. Fermentation started spontaneously and then it was pressed.
It fermented the rest of the time in used 225L barrels. Aging: 6 months used barrels. This wine has a red fruit aroma like strawberries. Fresh, light and appetizing wine. Contains sulfites.

Manual harvest for 15 kg boxes, grape selection and fermentation for 10 days at 24ºC. Aging in French oak barrels for 10 months. Closed ruby color. It highlights a very complete tasting, where fruits such as cassis and ripe raspberry, as well as tobacco and spices, coexist harmoniously. It has a vibrant, enveloping and full tasting, with tannins present but of great quality ensuring the longevity of this wine. The finish is deep and very persistent.

For Quinta da Pellada, mainly the field blend grapes of the old vineyard, but also the varieties Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, where the intense fruit and freshness from the grapes of the farm that give the name to this wine is discovered. It has the most heterogeneous soils - all granite as a base - and the most limited mixture (Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro). It was aged in well-used French barrels for 28 months.
