Manual harvesting, for boxes of 20kg, with rigorous selection in the cellar. Vinification in stainless steel mills, small capacity, with temperature control. Stage for 16 months in French oak barrels, of which 30% are new barrels and 70% barrels used. Very dark red color, almost black. The notes of ripe fruit and intense, although without any excess of maturation, which adds tobacco, graphite and a mineral background, are accompanied by a slight vegetal suggestion that adds to them an unusual complexity and tension. Vivid and powerful, austere but delicate, it surprises by the lively yet serene tannins, ending fresh and vigorous thanks to a well integrated acidity. Contains Sulfites.

Discover Bacalhôa Bical Vinhas Velhas 1931 White, a precious wine from Quinta da Rigodeira, acquired by Aliança Vinhos de Portugal in 2003. Located in the excellent wine region of Bairrada, between Fogueira and Ancas, this farm is home to notable plots, including a plantation from 1931, dedicated to the noble Bical grape variety.
This wine is distinguished by its unique aging: 60% of the batch fermented and matured for 12 months in new and one-year-old French oak barrels, while the remaining 40% benefited from the purity and freshness provided by stainless steel.
It has an extremely pale greenish yellow color, revealing an intense, finely delicate aroma, with touches of white-fleshed fruit and soft toasted notes. The balance is masterful, leading to a long and intense finish, where mineral notes stand out, adding complexity and promising admirable longevity. Its good acidity and refinement are excellent, demonstrating an impressive evolutionary capacity.

Chão dos Eremitas Tinta Carvalha Red

100% Tinta Carvalha. Tinta Carvalha is a grape variety from the old Alentejo strain, 1/2 sister to Castelão and Moreto and daughter of the crossing of the Sarigo x Alfrocheiro Preto grape varieties. The grapes, on granite soils and under a certified integrated protection regime, are selected on a sorting table, 30% of the whole bunch and 70% destemmed, falling by gravity into the vat. Spontaneous fermentation and 40-day maceration in film, followed by a 12-month aging in stainless steel vats. Very open, ruby color, intense fresh nose, notes of bitter red fruit, pomegranate notes of graphite. Very fine, elegant tense attack with lots of depth and tension. A red that shows that the Alentejo can be something else.

Open ruby color, nose with notes of alcoholic cherry, iodine and clove notes. In the mouth it is fresh, medium texture with a lot of salinity and fine tannins. It is a Volcanic Red. Manual harvest and then transported in pallets. Partial fermentation in stainless steel vats, finished in old oak casks. Stage in the same hulls for 20 months. The bright yellow hue immediately catches the eye! It presents an aromatic complexity where there is a mix of floral, with dominance of white flowers, and ripe fruity yellow pulp and dehydrated fruit. In the mouth the notes of toasted wood take to another dimension, warmer and more complex, always accompanied with a beautiful acidity and surrounding volume. Final with an intoxicating freshness! Good evolution in bottle. Contains sulfites.
