Grapes produced in organic production in vineyards planted in the plateau of Beira Interior, in high altitude granite soils. Vineyards planted exclusively with native varieties, perfectly adapted to the rustic climate caused by the altitude. Hand-picked grapes, reception without destemming and immediate crushing. Fermentation for a period of about 20 days with indigenous yeasts. Stage in stainless steel vats. The low productivity of granitic soils, especially in organic production, gave rise to this wine with an intense, fresh and very elegant aroma, with citrus notes in harmony with very discreet floral notes. In the mouth it is very fresh with volume provided by contact and lifting of the fine lees until bottling. Contains sulfites.

Malvasia Preta is one of the oldest varieties in the Douro, being present among the Vinhas Velhas of the region, although it was never produced as a single variety. With a distinct profile, it is combined with varieties such as Rufete, Tinta Francisca and Bastardo, which present more exotic and elegant wine profiles, living on intensity and acidity, as opposed to the structured and potent profile that the Douro usually presents us with. The curiosity that leads us to experiment with Malvasia Preta, essentially arises from the fact that it is an original variety from the Douro, being present in the region and resisting the harsh conditions of the terroir. Aging for 6 months in French oak barrels. Selection of grapes in the cut and transport in boxes directly to the cellar. Vinification with crushing and total destemming. Fermentation in an open press with controlled temperature. Intense red color and very balanced nose and well filled with notes of wild fruits and cherries, spices and a light floral touch, on a background where the elegance of vanilla and barrel notes is evident, in the mouth it reveals a voluminous and enveloping wine , where the fruit and the spices reveal a beautiful integration and the tannins demonstrate a good firmness, showing signs of potential in the bottle, a long and persistent finish. Aging on fine lees with battonage in barrels for 15 months. Straw color with good intensity. Complex and intense aroma reminiscent of stone fruits, flowers and spices. Dry palate, creamy attack, balanced acidity, good structure and very long finish. Contains sulfites.
