At the beginning of September the grapes were harvested manually for small boxes of 18kg. In the vineyard a careful selection was made according to the phenolic maturation stage of the grapes. At the arrival cellar the grapes were cooled to a skin maceration which was followed by pressing. The fermentation started in small stainless steel tanks, finishing in French oak barrels, followed by battonage and 4 month stage. Citrus yellow color and aromas of tree fruits and white flowers in harmony with nuances of roasted nuts. In the mouth it reveals elegant, young, vibrant, with fresh acidiy and long finish...

Soalheiro Alvarinho White

An intense, elegant wine with volume. Beginning at the end of August, this harvest was the earliest ever harvested in Soalheiro, but it demonstrated an exceptional balance between the fruit and the acidity of the Alvarinhos of the unique terroir of Monção and Melgaço. The grapes, exclusively from the Alvarinho variety, are harvested manually in small capacity boxes and transported to the winery in a short time. After pressing, the decanted wort is decanted for 48 hours, followed by controlled temperature fermentation, using pre-selected yeasts for this purpose. The bottling takes place after the stabilization of the wine, followed by a bottle stage. The Alvarinho Soalheiro winemaking is directed to obtain a wine that concentrates the quality of the grapes and allows a good evolution after the bottling. Citrus yellow color, aroma with the profile of Alvarinho Soalheiro Classical, intense and tropical with mineral notes. Contains Sulfites.
