Barca Velha 2011
898,00 €
The 2011 Barca Velha has a deep and lively ruby color. Its complex aroma emphasizes spices such as pepper, balsamic notes such as cedar and tobacco. This fan is perfectly combined with notes of red fruits and high quality wood, proving to be well integrated. In the mouth, it manifests a vibrant acidity, very firm tannins, hints of spices, black fruit and balsamic flavors. The finish is what its antecedents have always accustomed us to, extremely long, of great elegance and complexity.

The best kept secret of Francisco Costa, better known in the football world as 'Costinha', and António Boal, from Costa Boal Family Estates, a red from old Trás-os-Montes vineyards and named 'Segredo 6'. A 3.5 hectare plot in Mirandela, Trás-os-Montes. This was a wine that aged in new French oak barrels (500 liters) for 16 months, and another year in the bottle. Casa Ferreirinha Callabriga 5L Red
319,79 €
It is vinified in the Quinta da Leda winery, from grapes coming from plots located in Quinta da Leda and neighboring vineyards. Grapes with balanced maturation are chosen as a consequence of a favorable vegetative cycle. After destemming and soft crushing, the grapes are sent to stainless steel vats and/or mills, where prolonged macerations are carried out. It is intended with this technology that the constituents of quality, present in the ripe grapes, thus pass smoothly to the wine.
Contains Sulfites.

Located near Pinhão on the right bank of the Douro and with a spectacular view of the river, Quinta da Boavista is one of the most iconic properties in the region, known not only for its historical connection to Baron de Forrester but also for its 40 hectares of high quality vineyards. Impressive aroma that takes us to an orchard of bergamots, fresh wild scents, as well as floral notes and minerals, demonstrating a superb complexity and depth. In the mouth it is unique, impressing by the finesse and the beautiful integration with the wood. Long and persistent. Manual harvesting, destemming and soft smashing of berries. The fermentation of the grapes takes place in new barrels of French wood of 500 liters. After a period of maceration the resulting wine continues its stage for 16 months in barrels of 225 liters also of French oak.
