Diplomático Ambassador
Diplomático Ambassador is an excellent rum made from the best rum of the distillery and aged in white oak barrels for a minimum of twelve years and until the ideal maturity is reached. Then the runs end for another two years in barrels of sherry. Pedro Ximénez, contributing to the complex sensorial profile of this rum. The diplomatic ambassador is bottled directly from the barrel to preserve the full expression of its organoleptic properties. It has a bright dark amber color. Well-balanced combination of aromas, including port wine, box of cigars, dried fruits and chocolate. In the mouth it is complex with notes of raisins, nutmeg, cinnamon and toasted oak, which result in a long and pleasant residual flavor worthy of this exceptional product.
Bayou Select
Described as 'the rum for bourbon lovers', Bayou Select is a distilled copper pot from Louisiana's sugarcane, aged in the Solera method for up to three years. The result is a creamy rum with a bourbon-esque character, accompanied by cinnamon and maple notes. The Solera method involves a pyramid of stacked barrels. The oldest liquid is in the bottom layer of the barrels, the youngest at the top. When a lot is harvested, it is filled only by a part of the bottom layer, and these barrels are covered with rum from the layer that is on them. This second layer is, in turn, complemented with the contents of the third layer and so on. This process is a way to naturally mix spirits for consistent taste and quality.
