Then we did some more research and discovered Hernö won the most awards at the Gin Masters 2013 - our expectations went up even higher, to the point where we could see Sweden from our office! Colombo Nº7 Dry
A London Dry gin made according to a recipe of Sinhalese origin from the 1940s, Colombo no. 7 is distilled in England using copper stills with seven spices and botanists: four of them native to Sri Lanka. Cinnamon, curry leaf, ginger root and coriander seed are combined with juniper, licorice and angelica berries, providing an exotic gin without subtracting the London Dry style.
