Hendrick’s Orbium

Orbium is a retelling of Hendrick’s Gin by our Master Distiller, Lesley Gracie. Instilled with additional extracts of Quinine, Wormwood and Blue Lotus Blossom, the result is a strangely exquisite gin that sits on the palate. Orbium contains the same distillates as Hendrick’s Gin, yet the same extraordinary mind that broke the conventions by infusing the gin with cucumber and rose essences has now taken the gin in a whole new direction by infusing flavors that are traditionally associated with classic ginolic drinks ; quinine found in tonic (Gin & Tonic) and absinthe found in Vermouth (Martini Cocktail). But still is not completely Orbium. The addition of Blue Lotus Blossom balances the overall taste exquisitely; but the trinity of essences together create a complex gin with an amazing sheen and an unusually long finish. The result is a strange taste that is strangely familiar in character designed to open up previously unexplored dimensions of gin while spiraling from floral to a completely deeper and seductively bitter place.
