Discover Quinta da Rede Vintage 2018 Ruby, a distinguished wine from the Douro region, Lower Corgo sub-region. This exceptional wine results from careful hand selection of grapes at the winery entrance, followed by total destemming and prolonged skin maceration, with alcoholic fermentation in robotic lagares at a controlled temperature of 26ºC for 10 days.
This Ruby features a deep color, opaque with bluish tones, reflecting its richness. On the nose, it stands out for its floral notes of rockrose and rosemary, beautifully combined with ripe fruit. On the palate, it offers a harmoniously full body, silky texture, and well-integrated acidity with powerful, high-quality tannins.
Perfect for pairing with Queijo da Serra, blue cheeses, or hard cheeses, and chocolate-based desserts. It should be served at a temperature between 16ºC-18ºC. Decantation is recommended after opening, and it should be consumed within 2 to 3 days, keeping the bottle in a cool, dry place to preserve its characteristics.

Fermented wine with partial destemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the must reaches the desired sweetness value, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%), later aging in oak wood, in the warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia until it is bottled, between the 2nd and 3rd year, after approval. Amber colored wine, on the nose it presents complex aromas with hints of spices and hazelnuts, in the mouth it is a delicate wine with an interesting retronasal attack accompanied by a pleasant and persistent finish.

Outstanding for its exceptional features, the Sandeman Porto Vintage 2016 is a wine that will age in the bottle for 30 or 40 years. This excellent Vintage Porto 2016 is an example of Sandeman's commitment to the quality of Port wine. This wine has an opaque, almost black color. The aroma is intense and complex, with prominent notes of ripe black fruit, resin as well as notes of cocoa and chocolate as a result of its excellent maturation. Great volume on the palate with a vibrant, fresh acidity, firm, high-quality tannins, floral notes of stew and notes of black fruit and chocolate. A great invitation for the very long and elegant finale. Using the traditional technology of Port Wine, this wine was vinified in the Quinta do Seixo winery, grapes originating both there and in Quinta do Vau. In addition to the selection process, the grapes were subjected to crushing and stalking before undergoing a very intense maceration during alcoholic fermentation, by treading on granite wineries at controlled temperatures automatically. The balance and harmony of this wine, as well as its body and structure, result from the selection of the best grapes, the intensity of the maceration and the choice of the right moment to stop the fermentation. On the palate there is an explosion of ripe fruit combined with a high freshness, with very good tannins that give it immense life and prolongation of the mouth, a characteristic that increases its potential for aging, although it can be consumed already.
