Total destemming, prolonged skin maceration and alcoholic fermentation at 82ºF. It aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Light wine, with an intense garnet color, with complex nuances of ripe red fruits, wild fruit compotes, toasted notes and floral nuances. Fruity volume, well structured, exceptional and very vigorous. Contains Sulfites.

Blog Alicante Bouschet e Syrah 3L Red
In 2015 we enjoyed long and slow maturations that our older strains and our best plots have taken advantage of to provide grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. The two grape varieties that benefited most with the exceptional goodness of nature were Syrah and Alicante Bouschet, providing grapes in perfect maturity. With raw material so good we prefer to work them little, letting the grapes speak for themselves. That's why we did little more than one walk on our wineries, according to the most traditional methods of the region, followed by a stage in new barrels and barrels of second year of French oak, letting the wine express itself in the purest form . Very fleshy red color. Tense and closed, concentrated and powerful, floral and fruity, it ends with some earthy notes that add complexity. Silky and velvety in texture, it is an intense and structured red, vigorous but not aggressive, complex and elegant, fresh finish and great guarding potential. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta de Ventozelo Essência Red
Manual harvest, starting at the end of September, with careful selection of grapes. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes underwent a double selection: manual and using an optical sorting machine, which selects berry by berry according to their size and shape. After an initial cold maceration, fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature followed. 18 months in 500 liter French oak barrels (50% new and 50% used). This wine has a deep ruby color. Aromatic complex, with a predominance of black and ripe red fruit aromas, involved with a smoky touch, as a result of the long aging in barrels. In the mouth it is vibrant, with fruit and tannins. It finishes in a persistent and slightly spicy tasting, revealing great aging potential. Contains sulfites.
Anselmo Mendes Tempo White
Grapes harvested manually in small boxes and transported to the winery in a short time. Pelicular maceration followed by total fermentation with the films. Part of the fermentation takes place with the whole bunch not destemmed. After fermentation, it is aged for 6 months in used 400 liter French oak barrels with regular batting. Golden tanning color. Strong intensity of aromas, especially caramelized orange peel, citrus flowers and dried fruits. On the palate, it presents slight tannins flanked by a lively and sharp acidity. Strongly mineral mouth attack, ending very long, complex and persistent, showing dried and citrus fruits. Contains Sulfites.

The grapes, after careful manual selection on the choice mat, were de-stemmed and fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24°C and mechanical pumping over by robot for 9 days. Very focused. With balsamic notes of oak, fig, black plums and tobacco. Full-bodied, firm, ripe flavor with satin tannins. Mineral notes and a very elegant complex and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.

LAN is the Rioja in three letters. Founded in 1972, its name refers to the initials of the 3 provinces that belong to the Denomination of Origin Rioja: Logroño, Álava and Navarra. Producer consistent with Riojas phenomenal, traditional and modern styles, Bodegas LAN deserves this tribute due to its strong attention to detail, permanent focus on the quality of its raw material and the competent management of a complex system of aging in wood. Deep purple color. Aromas of ripe cooked fruit and liqueur, plum, blackberry, together with sweet and balsamic nuances. Scented with notes of toast, nutmeg, cinnamon, smoke. Characteristic mineral of the vineyard terroir. Full bodied, complex, structured and velvety in the mouth. Persistent at the end of the mouth. Contains Sulfites.

Quinta dos Murças VV47 Red
Quinta dos Murças VV47 has a very complex, intense and lively aroma, where the most mature red fruits, the characteristic balsamic aromas of the older vines and the notes of spices from the barrel stage stand out. Of great harmony and elegance, dominated by very fine ripe tannins and balanced acidity. It has a very long and persistent finish that, on the whole, allows for a great longevity. Manual harvesting, sorting table, destemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperatures (25º to 28ºC), in granite mills with foot step and pressing in an old vertical press. In French oak barrels used for about 12 months. Contains Sulfites.
Monte da Cal Segredo de Saturno Red
Crushing with total destemming, prolonged and smooth skin maceration, alcoholic fermentation at 26ºC, with cuvasion until malolactic completion. Aged for 18 months in French Oak barrels, 50% new and 50% second-use. The best 30 of 70 barrels were selected. 48 months of bottle aging. Intense garnet color with slight violet tones. Intense aroma with distinct complexity and a mix of fruity and tertiary notes. In the mouth it is fruity, soft, well structured, harmonious and with a distinct persistence. Contains sulfites.
Messias Garrafeira Red
Partial destemming of the grapes before entering the mill, where they were trodden by foot for 6 days. Finishing of the alcoholic fermentation in vinaigrette French oak barrels. The 2-year aging in wood is followed by another year of aging in the cellar. Intense ruby color. Characteristic Atlantic wine, where balsamic nuances of resin and cedar are involved with iodine and saline sensations. Huge structure and great aging potential.
