Blandy’s Sercial 1968
Blandy's Sercial 1968 aged 49 years in used American Oak casks, and like all family vintages, it matured in the Blandy's Wine Lodge warehouses, where it was successively transferred from the hottest warehouse, known as “Sotão” of the Almond. The grapes were vinified in an oil press, in the open spout system, and fermented until they had about 7%. Fermentation was stopped with the addition of neutral alcohol of wine origin. Lovely clean bitter – sweet olive finish. A wine for serious meditation. Only 600 magnums were released. Contains sulfites.

Light and bright coppery brown color with golden nuances and greenish reflections. On the nose it is very characteristic, exuberant and very ethereal, full of balsamic notes, spices and nuts. On the palate it is very powerful, fresh and concentrated, with a long and retro finish full of balsamic notes, exotic woods and old rum. Contains sulfites.

Aging took place in 2 casks, over 50 years old from warmer and drier warehouses situated on the upper floors of the wineries in Funchal - Blandy`s Madeira Lodge. It has a topaz color with golden reflections, greenish-gold nuances, brilliant crystalline and slow halo tear. Intense and complex aroma, highlighting the bouquet of wood wine composed of characteristic elements such as spices and vanilla. Contains sulfites.

This launch sets another milestone for Blandy’s, as a wine that has aged for 100 years in American oak casks and in glass bottles. Only 1,199 bottles were launched, individually numbered of this centenary wine. Light and bright dark mahogany color with a golden nuance and greenish reflections. On the nose it is complex and very characteristic, it is fine, intense, reveals a bouquet of dried fruit, exotic spices, vanilla, smoked notes mixed with cedar oil and balms. On the palate it is very concentrated and powerful, medium sweet, very balanced and smooth, its leaves have a very long aftertaste with notes of tobacco, exotic woods, cedar oil and wax. Contains sulfites.

Lovely golden brown color with a fine golden border. Characteristic and classic perfume of Madeira wine, dried fruit, toffee and notes of oak and spices. Sweet, very sweet, smooth and full-bodied, balanced by a very fine acidity. Leaves a long final flavor with notes of honey and spicy oak. Contains sulfites.

Blandy's Malmsey Vintage 1981 went through an aging process in old oak barrels, in the warm cellars of the cellar, where it aged for 37 years. This process, known as "canteiro", imparts unique aromas and flavors to the wine. After a few years the wine was transferred to cooler warehouses, continuing its smooth and natural aging until bottled. Amber color with greenish reflections, crystalline and shiny, on the nose it presents a characteristic and exuberant bouquet, with exotic wood notes, toasted confectioneries, with candied fruits, spices and smoked notes. Sweet, smooth and dense, good concentration with excellent freshness, leaving a long finish of brandy, spices and honey. Contains sulfites.
