The ripening period was less hot than usual and fresh temperatures allowed the grapes to have a good total acidity, an essential factor for a fresh and balanced palate. After a careful selection, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, the fermentation took place in trunk-conical stainless vats and wooden vats, with maceration for about 60 days. It was then aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, of which 25% was new wood, where malolactic fermentation took place. Batuta shows a beautiful ruby color, intense and alive. A deep and complex aroma, although slightly restrained, its mineral and forest profile is in full harmony with the barrel notes. Over time in the glass, the wine will show several layers, in a very elegant register, with fresh spices such as black pepper and cloves. Slim and elegant in the mouth, with a silky texture and firm structure, it features very polished and luxurious tannins. Deep and multidimensional. Although young, it impresses by its balance. Charme Red

The Charme shows a brilliant bright red color with a complex aroma reminiscent of tea leaves, a mild earthy character and a hint of cherries. In the mouth, although delicate and elegant, underlies a very long assertive structure, minerality and freshness, together with the well integrated wood, resulting in a harmonious finish with soft tannins. The grapes, with 100% of stems, were deposited in stainless steel presses with automatic crushers, in a process with short maceration. After this phase, the wine started its malolactic fermentation in old wooden barrels, remaining in stage for about 22 months. Redoma Red reflects all the elegance, structure and acidity that only a region with the breadth of the Douro can express. The color is ruby, concentrated and when it is shaken in the glass, violet hints appear. The nose is delicate, with floral notes, of red fruits such as cherry, menthol nuances and a smoke that gives it complexity and character. In the mouth it has volume, it is round and spicy, precise and extremely balanced. It ends long and with an acidity that persists and gives it longevity. Contains sulfites.

Niepoort Turris Red

The fermentation was carried out in stainless steel, with 25% of stalks and the period of contact between the solid and liquid part, lasted for 5 weeks, in a delicate process, with a very light maceration with little extraction. Turris aged for 20 months in two 1,000-liter kites, over 60 years old. The wine was bottled without glue or filtration. The young and intense color, slightly open, leads to a deep, markedly mineral and crystalline aroma. Impresses by purity and finesse, with red, fresh fruit, and a spring floral. In the mouth it is fresh, silky but with great tension. The combined elegance of minerality and tannic structure shows a unique complexity. This wine particularly prizes for the long finish, a wine that is "chewed" without being heavy and that allows us to taste the old. Contains Sulfites.

After a refrigerated transport to Quinta de Nápoles, the grapes enter the cellar, where a full selection is made on a table of choice, and are pressed in an automatic press. After cold static decanting, the musts are cleaned in stainless steel vats, spontaneously fermenting at a controlled temperature. They age in their fine lees for 6 months, without lifting them. The White Dialogue is a good example of the Niepoort profile, austere and very mineral. A fresh white, with herbaceous and citrus notes on the nose, young but showing all its aging potential, very fine and elegant, with an electric aftertaste that makes you want to repeat. Niepoort Redoma Reserva White

The Redoma Reserva White shows a light citrus and crystalline color. The fresh and mineral profile reveals the fantastic terroir where the vines are inserted. Complex and very captivating, it features notes of white fruit as well as white flowers and an orange blossom fragrance. The barrel notes are very well integrated, giving complexity and depth to the aroma, but without regret. In the mouth it is tense, with good volume of glass. The freshness, citric acidity and strong minerality provide lightness and elegance for the structure it presents. Dry and austere, it is a white that will benefit greatly in the basement. Poeirinho Garrafeira Red

It comes from several plots of old vines, some of which are centenary. Part of the wine was vinified in an open press, and another part in stainless steel vats, where it fermented and macerated for 4 weeks. The malolactic occurred in used 2500L vats, where it aged for 48 months. It was bottled without filtration. Shows a violet-toned color. Nose of enormous complexity, very expressive in the notes of red fruits, some spices and with a very fresh floral side. The purity of aromas and its enormous freshness are impressive. The limestone terroir vibrates in the aroma and enhances the elegance and finesse of the Baga variety. In the mouth, it is very fine, complex and extremely precise. Very polished and with excellent acidity, it shows very delicate tannins. Full of character, this Garrafeira has a fantastic balance. Refreshing but very long and thin aftertaste, it grows as you taste it. Elegant yet deep, Garrafeira will age very well in the bottle. Contains sulfites.

Niepoort Redoma Rose

The must fermented in new French oak barrels for approximately 2 months, followed by aging in stainless steel for 7 months. With a light and bright salmon hue, Redoma Rosé has an austere aroma, with aromas of dried flowers, red fruits and a slightly smoky profile. It has a slightly reduced aroma, is vibrant, highly gastronomic and will grow in the bottle. It is fresh in the mouth, with presence and some volume. The fresh fruit and mineral notes are in complete harmony, providing a very long and delicate aftertaste. Contains sulfites.
