Quinta de Ferradosa Douro Tinto is a wine that shows a very concentrated nose with some freshness. In the mouth there is much red fruit like strawberries and raspberries alloted to floral notes. The tannins are well present, and bring to the wine a striking structure. The balance of the wine is given by a marked freshness, making this Quinta da Ferradosa a very elegant wine.

The grapes that make up this wine come from old vines planted in schist soil at an average altitude of 350 meters in the region between Freixo de Espada à Cinta and Barca d'Alva, in the Douro Superior. With exposure to the Northeast, we were able to obtain full-bodied red wines with an elegant profile. Hand picking vintage. Fermentation made by grape varieties to improve the rigor in the selection of the final blend that gives rise to this wine. Fermentation takes place in small-capacity stainless steel vats, with a controlled temperature of around 28ºC. Controlled maceration in order to obtain an aromatic and elegant wine. Post Scriptum Magnum Red
The grapes are picked by hand prior to destemming and there is an automated selection process. These are gently crushed before being transferred to the fermentation in the vats where they are inoculated with a specially selected yeast culture and fermented at 25 ° C. During fermentation, the wines are gently macerated with the ability to mature in the bottle. Post Scriptum DOC features a deep ruby color, appealing ripe plum scents. Bulky and well structured body. Very elegant tannins, presenting a very fresh and long-lasting finish. It is ready to drink but reveals a high potential for aging. Contains Sulfites.
Portal Vintage 2016 Ruby
Manual harvesting transported in small boxes. Laceration in stainless steel mill and vat at an approximate temperature of 28-30ºC. Stage of 1 year in hull, with filling in the second year. The great majority of the grapes come from the Pinhão River Valley where the Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz are able to withstand the heat that has occurred in the summer. These grapes have been added to other Douro valleys, which translates into a classic blend of the region. The fermentation took place in a mix of closed vats to guarantee the freshness and aromatic component, mill to guarantee greater complexity and structure. After a slow aging and care in our cellars in the Douro, this Vintage now has an intense and mature fruity, in addition to a floral that conveys excellent freshness. It shows a strong concentration and structure in the mouth accompanied always with a rich and aromatic component variability. A classic vintage definitely remembering other decades. Aged for 18 to 20 months in French oak barrels, and is marketed after aging for at least another 12 months in bottle. Coming from vineyards under 20 years old, the reds are made in open ponds with footsteps (like all reds in Mouchão) and with 100% stems. It presents an intense red - garnet color, concentrated aroma of black fruits and spices, with delicate floral touch, structured and rich palate with fruit, acidity and tannins in perfect balance. Grapes from old vineyards with an average age over 40 years, hand-harvested from Touriga Nacional, Sousão, Touriga franca and Tinta Roriz varieties, aged for 18 months in barrels. Vinified from grapes from farms in the Pinhão area, using traditional technology of Port Wine. Following the choice of grapes, crushing and destemming, very intense maceration is followed during the period of alcoholic fermentation, through stepping in granite wineries with controlled temperature. The balance and harmony of this Vintage, as well as its body and structure, are obtained through the selection of grapes, the intensity of maceration and the choice of the moment of the fermentation stop. Opaque, almost black color. Intense aroma of good complexity, with balsamic notes of resins, cedars and tobacco boxes, spiced like pepper, cloves and very mature black fruits. In the mouth presents a good attack, with well integrated acidity, tannins of very good quality, resin aromas and slightly floral with a long finish and great balance. Contains sulfites.
Quinta dos Muros Vintage 2016 Ruby
Manual harvesting carried in small boxes. Maceration in stainless steel mill and vat at an approximate temperature of 28-30ºC. Stage 1 year in hull, with filling in the second year. Produced from grapes from Quinta dos Muros on the spring slope of the Pinhão River valley, where the Touriga Nacional exposed to the south finds the ideal conditions to provide all the structure and complexity beyond the black and ripe fruit, and where Tinta Roriz, with Exposure West lends the acidity and aromatic freshness to this Vintage. Thus we obtain, after vinification in winepress and vat, a retinto Port with an attractive violet and exuberant and fresh aroma to fruits like blackberry and plum. Already in the mouth is initially velvety, well balanced, but soon appears all serious character where the tannins show their claw, aided by a beautiful acidity that leave a long and powerful end of mouth! A serious, fresh and balanced port as only the Pinhão Valley knows how to produce! Contains sulfites.

Stainless steel maceration and vats with temperature control at 28-30ºC. Bottled 2 years after harvest, after aging for one year in old barrels. The wine is dark purple with a fresh and attractive aroma of violets, plums and raspberries. It is a velvety wine, well balanced, but with serious and powerful tannins and fine acidity. A serious, fresh and balanced port, which could only be from the Pinhão valley.
