Fresh grapes at their ideal point of maturation, picked by hand into 20 kg boxes, are transported to the cellar where they were subjected to a careful manual selection, destemming and gentle crushing. Fermentation by grape variety, in stainless steel and half of the blend ages in used French oak barrels for 8 months. A organic wine rich in fresh aromas of red fruit and vegetable notes of resin, pine and rockrose, with a rich and dense flavor with freshness and sweet tannins.
Prazo de Roriz Red
Hand picked grapes, selected on a choice of carpet, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, where maceration (manual reassembly) allows to extract all that good grapes can give. Characterized by red fruits, raspberry and cherry, the terroir of Roriz also inscribes a mineral touch and appealing spice notes. Ideal for new consumption. It has the potential to work in bottle for a few years.

The discreet and well integrated wood in the wine, contributes to its complexity and aromatic enrichment. Made of the nobility of the Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz grape varieties, planted in our best vineyards exposed to the south in the Pinhão river valley, we spent 14 months in new French oak casks. Retinto, dense, opaque and almost impenetrable, shows in the nose bright notes of ripe cassia. The tannins appear powerful in the mouth and the end reveals an absolutely remarkable persistence and intensity.
Serve at 16 - 17 ºC. Ideal to accompany red meats and cheeses. Potential of aging. Contains Sulfites.
Kopke Colheita 1979 Tawny
The manufacturing process includes stopping the wort fermentation by adding wine spirit (benefit or brandy), blending wines and aging. Fermentation in oil presses with skin maceration and pumping over at a temperature of 29ºC until reaching the desired Baumé, adding spirit in this phase. High quality wine from a single harvest. It ages in wood for variable periods of time, never less than 7 years, and then bottled according to market requests. Penetrating amber color. It presents a complex and rich bouquet of aromas where the dry fruits predominate. Distinct, balanced and harmonious on the palate. Elegantly combined tannins, which last in the delicious end. This Colheita 17º presents a red color, a very balanced nose and well filled with notes of wild fruits and cherries, spices and a light floral touch, in a background where the elegance of vanilla and barrel notes is evident, in the mouth it reveals a wine voluminous and enveloping, where the fruit and spices reveal a beautiful integration and the tannins demonstrate a good firmness, showing signs of potential in the bottle, long and persistent finish.
