The grapes were harvested by hand into small boxes of 20 kg. The composition of the blend varies with the production of each variety in the vineyard. After total destemming, the grapes go to a small stainless steel press with temperature control, where they macerate 24h cold before the fermentation begins. Fermentation is slow, under controlled temperature, with soft pumping over. This wine aged only in stainless steel, to preserve all the natural aromas and flavors of the grapes that give rise to it. The result is an intense ruby colored wine, with notes of blackberries, currants and spices. In the mouth it is balanced and fruity and round. Contains Sulfites.

It aged for 15 months in new 300 L French oak barrels. Intense and very fresh aroma, showing well the cool summer nights at altitude in the Douro Superior, marked by violets, black and red fruits very characteristic of the grapes that gave rise to it, in balance with very subtle notes of French barrel. In the mouth, freshness, acidity and live tannins denote the soil and climate and provide longevity, then all the notes of aroma are felt in an elegant and long set.

The grapes that serve as base are the Touriga Nacional, the Alfrocheiro and the Jaen, and respecting the balance of the different plots chosen, we harvest the grapes manually for boxes of 12 kg. The fermentation takes place in traditional cement tanks and pre-fermentation and post-fermentation is done, the stage is partially made in new French oak barrels for a year, and the whole process of stabilization for bottling is done in a natural way - we do not subject this wine to any type of filtration.
