The winemaking is classic in stainless steel vats with smooth skin maceration. Fermentation is controlled up to 26ºC for 9 days. The aging is done in French oak barrels for 6 months. Clear appearance, strong red color with hints of garnet, reveals a deep and elegant aroma of very ripe red fruits, where the notes of plum, blueberry and cherry stand out combined with soft expressions of fine vanilla, spices and dried fruits, married with a light fragrance. balsamic and faint breath of pine forest. In the mouth it shows outstanding complexity, it is round and harmonious, with good structure and balance of well integrated tannins, promising a good aging potential. It reveals a long persistence and an exquisite bouquet, showing the character of its terroir and the personality of the grape variety. Contains sulfites.

Concentrated in color and with an intense nose, it reveals elegant notes of red fruits and toasted nuances, reminiscent of chocolate and spices. In the mouth it is seductive and full-bodied, with the fruit present surprisingly fresh and the silky tannins revealing all the complexity of aging in barrels, providing a genuine and charismatic final set. Only 114 bottles of wine made from a special portion of Touriga Nacional. Very elegant and delicate, without exuberance, a very light floral giving fineness to the still closed aroma, where also comes some dried vegetable, black plum, blueberries. Very deep and solid mouth, with a mineral background brought by balanced acidity. It is a very high level red, somewhat austere, with solid but polished tannin, spice nuances, in a tone of great delicacy and at the same time firmness and sophistication. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta de São José Vinha Ruy Francisco Red
Only 1190 bottles of wine made from a special portion of Touriga Nacional. Reguengos Garrafeira dos Sócios Red
The grapes, coming from the manual harvest of our associates, are immediately stalked and crushed. With the addition of selected yeasts, the fermentation begins at controlled temperature (25ºC). During this period the maceration or tanning is done by the process of timed reassembly, in order to have a greater extraction of color and tannins. The tanning lasts about 15 days. Dom Rafael Red
Born in the old vineyards of the Aragonêz, Trincadeira, Castelão and Alicante Bouschet grapes, the grapes for this wine are harvested and hand-selected, foot-stepped, fermenting in the open wineries of the winery, precisely the same methods used for over a hundred years in Herdade do Mouchão and that make Dom Rafael one of the most famous reds of the region. Alentejo and contemporary, Dom Rafael is a versatile red, ideal to accompany varied gastronomic proposals. The Dom Rafael red stalks in casks of Portuguese chestnut and oak and in French oak barrels for 12 months, after which it staged for at least another 6 months in the bottle. Over the years this is a wine that is increasingly smooth, complex and balanced. Typically Alentejan and at the same time contemporary, Dom Rafael is a versatile red, ideal to accompany very diversified gastronomic proposals. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta da Fonte Souto Vinha do Souto Red
Situated on the slopes of the Serra de São Mamede at 500 meters altitude, near Portalegre, Quinta da Fonte Souto benefits from conditions of greater freshness and humidity than the warm Alentejo plain. Quinta de São José Reserva Red
Grapes harvested by hand, for boxes of 25 kg, at their ideal point of maturation; intended to have a vigorous maturation, leading to higher aromatic and polyphenolic concentrations. After gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel vats and wine presses, thus allowing the quality constituents present in the skins of the very ripe grapes to pass smoothly into the wine. After malolactic fermentation, the wine aged in new and used 400 liter French oak barrels for approximately 12 months. Purple and very deep in color, very complex and distinctive aromas where the fruity and floral character predominates with spicy notes, fresh from mint from very discreet wood and well integrated into the wine. In the mouth it shows fruit, complexity with high level tannins that give it a long finish. This balanced combination of power and elegance certainly contributes to its aging potential, so the wine will benefit from a few years in the bottle. Contains Sulfites.
Quinta de São José Grande Reserva Magnum Red
Purple color and very deep, very complex and distinct aromas dominated by the fruity and floral character with spicy, fresh notes of mint from very discrete wood and well integrated into the wine. In the mouth it shows fruit, complexity with high level tannins that give it a long finish of mouth.
