Nose, very fresh and intense with notes of wild black fruits and black cherries in balance with seductive nuances of “Liquorice”, the aroma being complexed by notes of wood. In the mouth it is very concentrated, warm, with firm tannins and a smooth texture, a very intense and persistent finish, strongly showing the strength of Douro Superior wines. This wine accompanies meats, cheeses and Mediterranean cuisine in general. Serve between 15 and 16ºC.

The wine selected to portray the decade of 2010-2020 was a Rosé Pinot Noir from 2018 with Bairrada Denomination of Origin. This edition presents a theme alluding to the Higgs Boson, also called the God particle, which is an elementary particle, theoretically arising shortly after the Big Bang, discovered on March 14, 2013. In 2015 we enjoyed long and slow maturations that our older strains and our best plots have taken advantage of to provide grapes with an exemplary balance between acidity and tannins. The two grape varieties that benefited most with the exceptional goodness of nature were Syrah and Alicante Bouschet, providing grapes in perfect maturity. With raw material so good we prefer to work them little, letting the grapes speak for themselves. That's why we did little more than one walk on our wineries, according to the most traditional methods of the region, followed by a stage in new barrels and barrels of second year of French oak, letting the wine express itself in the purest form .
Very fleshy red color. Tense and closed, concentrated and powerful, floral and fruity, it ends with some earthy notes that add complexity. Silky and velvety in texture, it is an intense and structured red, vigorous but not aggressive, complex and elegant, fresh finish and great guarding potential.
Contains Sulfites.
