The harvest took place in the last week of September. The grapes were harvested manually, to small boxes of 18kg. The alcoholic fermentation lasted about 15 days, with gentle maceration for a good extraction of aromas and color. After fermentation, it was transferred to French oak barrels where it remained for 12 months. After bottling the wine remained about 6 months in a fresh cellar before being released to the market. It presents an intense ruby color, aromas of forest fruits and notes of ripe plum, with an excellent structure and a long and expressive finish. Contains Sulfites.

Quinta de Arcossó Grande Reserva Red
21,00 €
Quinta de Arcossó Grande Reserva Red is a prestigious wine, cultivated with care in Arcossó, Vidago, in the Ribeira de Oura sub-region. Coming from a privileged plot of 10.5 hectares, within a 12-hectare vineyard planted in 2003, this Grande Reserva grows on a southern slope, 400 meters above sea level, benefiting from a 20% slope and granite soil, elements that give the grapes exceptional quality.
The grapes were trodden by foot in 1000-liter vats and fermented in old chestnut wood barrels, over 100 years old, for 15 days, under careful manual pumping. After malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats, the wine was divided, with half returning to the barrels and the other half maturing in new French oak barrels for 12 months, without resorting to mechanical processes, preserving the integrity and essence of the wine.
With a color as deep as the mountains from which it comes, Quinta de Arcossó Grande Reserva Red displays an intense and complex aroma, marked by red fruits and black olives, enriched by a striking minerality, a reflection of the region's hydro-mineral wealth. The palate, robust and structured like the granite that shelters the vineyards, reveals a surprising softness, freshness and notes of mint and spices. This wine, unfiltered and unfined, encapsulates the collective essence of its origin, offering a unique and memorable sensorial experience with each glass.

Manual harvest. 100% destemmed by vibration. Stage 50% new 500l French oak barrel for 7 months; 50% in stainless steel vats. Touriga Nacional is the international icon of Portuguese grape varieties originating in the region where it best expresses itself, the Dão. In Taboadella, it is a grape that shines on the ground, and this is a great example of its natural acidity with this exceptional terroir allowing us to detect the violets that populate the aroma in our memory in complementarity with the notes of altitude, the black spice and the quartzitic aroma of wet granite, in surprising complexity. Contains sulfites.

Quinta da Fata Encruzado White
12,49 €
The harvest is done by hand and the grapes are transported to the cellar in small boxes. This is followed by pressing the whole grape in a press and settling in a cold stainless steel tank. Then the completely clean wort is transferred to other stainless steel tanks where it is fermented at a controlled temperature of around 15ºC. The alcoholic fermentation of the wine is kept in vats only with fine sludge for another 5 months with batonnage. Before bottling it is transferred and has natural stabilization and light filtration in order to maintain all its aromatic potential and structure. Contains sulfites.
