Hand-harvested. 100% destemmed by vibration. Aged 50% in new 500l French oak barrels for 7 months; 50% in stainless steel vat. Touriga Nacional is the international icon among Portuguese grape varieties, originating in the region where it expresses itself best, Dão. At Taboadella, this variety shines on its own, and this is a great example of its natural acidity with this exceptional terroir allowing us to detect the violets that populate our aromatic memory, complemented by notes of altitude, black spice, and the quartz-like scent of wet granite, in a surprising complexity. Contains sulfites.
