Quinta Vale Dona Maria VVV Valley’s White
20,33 €
VVV Valleys shows the unique character of the Pinhão River Valley, Torto and Douro, where we found vineyards that we feel that express the Douro we have known for several centuries. Each V marks the passage of 5 generations and the three V’s were a symbol used to show the quality of the wines inside our cellar. The Douro is the combination of all these factors: family, history, castes, terroirs and wines – and this wine is your testimony. Contains Sulfites.

Mariposa Reserva Red
10,68 €
The grapes were harvested manually into small boxes of 20 kg, with selection in the vineyard. The composition of the blend varies with the production of each variety in the vineyard. After total destemming, the grapes go to a traditional granite mill, where they macerate for about 48 hours, with temperature control. Fermentation is slow, under controlled temperature, and pumping over is done by foot treading. This wine ages for 1 year in used 225 and 500L French oak barrels. It presents a deep ruby color, with lilac hints. Complex aroma, with notes of wild berries and spices, showing a very present Touriga Nacional and well integrated barrel notes. In the mouth it is full and ripe, with firm but satin tannins. Contains Sulfites.

Clear appearance, ruby color. Blue fruit notes, spice and mineral nuances. Fresh, balanced and direct palate, with a silky texture where the purity of red fruit predominates, with an intense and vibrant finish. Contains sulfites.
Castello D’Alba Reserva White
6,99 €
Manual harvest for small 15 kg perforated boxes, fermentation with cold technology, in a reductive environment, with controlled temperature around 16ºC, using very gentle crushing and pressing processes under an inert atmosphere in order to preserve all the aromatic potential of the grapes , a great effort is made so that all pre-fermentative operations are carried out within the strictest rigor, as they are responsible for the intrinsic quality of the future wine. Part of the wine ferment in used French oak and remains there after a small racking over fine lees with periodic “battonage” stirring until the final blend is made with stainless steel wine. Fermentation and aging in French and American wood with agitation of lees for 6 months until filling. Complex aroma, mineral in balance with exotic fruits, citrus fruits, white flowers of the field, in addition to discreet and suggestive toasted barrel notes. In the mouth it is plump and creamy, with volume and freshness, very long. Contains Sulfites.
Crochet Red
37,63 €
Crochet is a four-handed wine that faithfully translates the colossal and untamed spirit of the Douro. A wine made by two friends, Susana Esteban and Sandra Tavares da Silva, winemakers who share not only a relationship of deep friendship but a common passion for wine and a sensitivity and visions similar to what the Douro can and can offer. Two winemakers who joined efforts to produce this Douro wine that brings together the feeling and the common experience of many harvests together and separated. Manual fermentation in 15 kg boxes with strict selection at the entrance of the cellar. Vinification in stainless steel with post fermentation maceration. Stage of 18 months in French oak barrels 40% new and 60% second year. Red color retinta. Fruity but compact, almost monolithic, it alternates between the delicacy of the fruit and an intensely mineral profile surprising for the softness of the tannins, the aromatic depth and the vehemence of the structure. Tense and serious, it is a rigorous and well-educated red that presents itself fine and elegant. Contains Sulfites.
