Quinta de Arcossó Arinto White
25,00 €
Mr. Amílcar chose to ferment this white wine, an Arinto from Quinta de Arcossó, directly in the Vidago region, 450 meters above sea level in Trás-os-Montes (Ribeira de Oura). He adopted a unique approach: 80% of the fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with 'bâtonnage', while the remaining 20% was fermented in French oak barrels. After this process, this delicious Arinto was aged in bottles for 30 months.
Enhance the flavor of this white wine by decanting it for an hour before serving.

Ribeiro Santo Touriga Nacional is a concentrated wine, ruby color with violet lavas. Expressive aroma with blackberries and cherries, field flowers and notes of spices. Medium body, mineral, with a good acidity to give freshness, fine tannins and final firm and spicy. The harvest took place at the end of September. The grapes were completely destemmed for small stainless mills, where they macerated 24 hours at low temperature, before beginning the alcoholic fermentation, with indigenous yeasts at controlled temperature. The alcoholic fermentation lasted about 15 days, with gentle remonstrances for a good extraction of color and aromas. After fermentation, it was transferred to new French oak barrels, where it remained for 12 months until bottling. Contains Sulfites.
