The bunches were harvested by hand and selected on the sorting mat. After being de-stemmed, a 6-hour pre-fermentative cold maceration followed. Fermentation took place slowly in 400 and 500l French oak barrels, where the wine then aged for around 9 months. Notes of orange peel and ripe citrus, roasted apple, light buttery and integrated barrel notes. in the mouth it has good volume, balanced acidity and a surprisingly fresh finish.

Manual harvest, during the month of September for 25 kg boxes. After a selection of bunches in the vineyard, the berries were chosen by optical sorting, choosing the perfect berries. These were then refrigerated, de-stemmed and pressed in an inert environment. The subsequent decantation and fermentation took place at a temperature of 16°C. This single variety has a very fresh character, with a pale and crystalline appearance. Very lively on the nose, reveals expressive fruit with a floral touch. On the palate it is a balanced wine, with good volume, assertive acidity and minerality. Contains sulfites.
Quinta do Crasto Touriga Nacional Red

Quinta do Crasto Touriga Nacional 2016 aged in French oak barrels where it remained for 18 months. The grapes, from the best plots of Touriga Nacional at Quinta do Crasto, were transported in boxes of 22 kg capacity and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, a soft pressing was carried out. It is a rich violet colored wine, with elegant violet notes on the nose, in perfect harmony with soft notes of fresh spice and wild Douro fruits. Starts the mouth tasting in a harmonious way, evolving into a wine with excellent volume and fine texture tannins very well matched with violet aromas. An engaging wine that mirrors the entire identity of Touriga Nacional and ends with excellent freshness and persistence. Contains Sulfites.
