Quinta de Lemos Dona Louise 2013 Red

In the mouth, its silky structure and enveloping tannins combine perfectly with the freshness of the fruit, resulting in a harmonious balance between acidity and alcohol. Prepared with care, through partial stemming and spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 18ºC, each sip is a unique sensorial experience. Intense color, aroma of great complexity where wild fruits, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries predominate, notes of spices and tobacco. The tannins are exquisite and the balanced acidity gives it a long and elegant finish.

Touriga Nacional, full and voluminous with the sweet and structured Tinta Roriz and the complex aroma of Jaen, growing on slopes at an altitude between 350 and 400 meters. The vine is grown within an integrated protection program. Infestation control is achieved through soil movement. The harvest is done by hand, grape variety by variety, when the ideal ripening point is reached, normally between the second half of September and the first half of October. The harvest is collected in small 10 kg boxes. These wines are obtained after fermentation at a controlled temperature, in order to preserve all their aromatic elegance, in large wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks, for 20 days. The wine is produced by malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and has a subsequent maturation period of 18 months to enhance its structure and complexity. Quinta de Lemos Dona Santana is a wine made from four grape varieties from the Dão region, with notes of jelly and cocoa. Ripe, creamy and elegant dark fruits Sweet and attractive finish. .
