Wine bright and lively, restrained and elegant on the nose with notes of gooseberry, wild scent and red cherry, where they combine with the earthy aromas and some trimmings of pencil and ink. It has a very subtle vegetable side that blends in perfectly with the notes of spice and light smoked. In the mouth is a wine that excels by the balance, the harmony and the harmony that it presents. The tannin is of an impressive finesse and texture and the body is bulky and rich.

The grapes were vinified with total destemming, followed by soft crushing and skin maceration for about 12 hours. After this period in an inert atmosphere, pressing was carried out in a pneumatic press, followed by a period of clarification of the must, from 24 to 48 hours, depending on the variety and the state of maturation. The alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature between 12º and 14ºC. The wines aged in stainless steel on fine lees until bottling. A new wine from old strains. In terms of aroma, it is a very fresh wine, with citrus fruit, in harmony with light floral nuances and strong mineral notes typical of the Terroir. Contains sulfites.
Quinta das Marias Touriga Nacional Red

In each harvest, it is Nature's last decision because it is his stimuli that prevail. That is why the choice of the plot that gives rise to this wine varies from year to year. In the 2016 harvest, the best grapes from the “Porto” stand were selected, due to their exposure and availability of water in the soil, which helped the maturation to be long and regular, creating a good balance in the fruit, between acidity, color and tannins.
It is a very potent version of Touriga-Nacional where a good but discreet barrel is combined with a concentrated wine without being too extracted. Contains sulfites.
