With this Powder of Dust we tried to make a personalized wine, with an expressive aroma and with a depth and freshness that characterize our wines. Vine and land wines, with a minimum oenological intervention in order to express their origin to the best of their ability. Contains Sulfites.

Partial destemming, fermentation in foot-treading wine presses, finishing the malolactic fermentation in used barrels. Stage for 8 months in used oak barrels and 6 months in bottle. Total destemming, soft crushing and thermal shock, followed by a period of pre-fermentation cold maceration in a mill for about 12h to 24h, after which the masses were transferred to wide and low fermentation vats, maceration for 8 days. at 22°C. Aging for 4 months, 50% in stainless steel and 50% in American and French oak barrels. Sensation of wild aromas in which red fruits predominate, complexed by a slight aging in wood. Grapes from non-irrigated 100% Rufete vineyards, originating in two plots of granitic soils in the parish of Vermiosa, in the heart of the Douro International Natural Park, at an average altitude of 700 meters. Partial destemming and crushing. Integral fermentation in cement vats with indigenous yeasts without temperature control. Aging for 15 months in cement eggs, 10% of this batch aged in used French oak barrels. Complex aroma with sweet vegetable notes in combination with wild fruits and spices. Mineral character and a slight earthy touch, very identifying the variety. In the mouth it is a fresh wine, with soft but well present tannins, with spicy notes and slight minerality. Contains sulfites.
Quinta do Vallado Touriga Nacional Red

Each plot was harvested manually and vinified separately in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature and reassembly. After malolactic fermentation, all wines were transferred to 225 liter French oak barrels where they remained for 16 months. Of the barrels used, 50% were new and the remainder were 2nd or 3rd year. Typical aroma of ripe Touriga Nacional, bergamot, wild fruits, with floral (violet) and spice nuances. Elegant flavor, with lots of fruit and surrounding tannins. Long and very fresh aftertaste. Contains sulfites.
