Made from grapes from selected winemakers from Melgaço and Monção, this wine is the result of several years of studies of grape varieties, soils, winemaking processes and the special people we came to know. We chose Monção and Melgaço because we believe it has everything to be a great wine in the world. Vinification took place together with skin maceration + tanning + amphora fermentation. Quinta de Arcossó Reserva White
12,50 €
Quinta de Arcossó Reserva White is an exceptional example, the result of a careful selection of grapes from two different parcels. The first, a 2.5-hectare plot, is part of a 12-hectare vineyard planted in 2003, while the second, 5 hectares, is part of a set of 8 hectares planted between 2016 and 2017. Both are located on generous slopes, at altitudes of 400 and 500 meters, respectively, facing South and Southeast, with significant slopes and granite soil, guaranteeing the excellence of the raw material.
The vinification of this White Reserve is carried out with meticulous care, where around 40% of the alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, accompanied by "bâtonnage" over 10 months. This process gives the wine a unique complexity and richness, evident in its multifaceted aroma, which combines fruity nuances with a very subtle touch of wood and distinct notes of wet stone, adding depth to its taste profile. After bottling, the wine is carefully aged in the bottle for 4 months, ensuring the evolution and perfection of its character.
Upon tasting, Quinta de Arcossó Reserva White reveals a full body, fresh and at the same time unctuous, a true delight for the palate. The finish surprises with a hint of salinity, making each sip a unique and memorable experience. This wine is not just a drink, but a sensorial journey through the richness and diversity of the Arcossó terroir, ideal to accompany special moments or to enrich any collection of excellent wines.
Casa Ferreirinha Castas Escondidas Red Magnum

But what grape varieties does this red hide? These are varieties cultivated in the Douro for many generations, such as Touriga-Fêmea, Tinta Francisca, Bastardo or Marufo, supported in the blend by Tinta Amarela, Tinto Cão, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa and old vine. This unusual combination results in an original wine that does not neglect the character of the region. Contains sulfites.

Segredo 6 Old Vineyards Magnum Red
589,98 €
The best kept secret of Francisco Costa, better known in the football world as 'Costinha', and António Boal, from Costa Boal Family Estates, a red from old Trás-os-Montes vineyards and named 'Segredo 6'. A 3.5 hectare plot in Mirandela, Trás-os-Montes. This was a wine that aged in new French oak barrels (500 liters) for 16 months, and another year in the bottle. But it still has "great potential" for aging. Contains sulfites.
