Pequenos Rebentos Loureiro Vinhas Velhas White

Made from a vineyard planted in 1989, between Ponte de Lima and Braga, the vines of the Loureiro variety with the lowest production were selected. Wine resulting from spontaneous fermentation, in used barrels from Puligny-Montrachet and consequent maturation of about 7 months, using battonage. It is a wine with a strong varietal character, fresh with a slight floral. This laurel has a well-closed aroma, with light florals, with a greenish color, thin and fine in the mouth, with a long and persistent finish. Contains sulfites.

Manual harvest, reception with total destemming and crushing immediately. Fermentation between 22-26 ºC for about 7 days with gentle maceration in cement vats, maceration using the classic “delestage” technique, about 3 to 4 per fermentation, malolactic fermentation in used barrels. Aging for 14 months in 300 Lts American oak barrels with extra fine grain. Explosive aroma, very intense, wild fruits and spices with intense notes of licorice in perfect balance with discrete notes from barrel to toast and vanilla. Sweet attack in the mouth, with great volume, the vibrant notes of fruit and spices can be felt in the nose, with very voluminous and soft tannins, with a long and persistent finish. Ready to drink. Quinta do Monte Xisto Magnum Red

The grapes were harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in 20 kg boxes. They were vinified in mills with treading on foot. Fermentation took place over 6 days in the mill with indigenous yeasts. This followed an 18-month stage in 600 liter kites. Intense ruby color, we bring the nose closer to the glass and the aroma is gradually discovered. First, the cistus, juniper, stands out, progressing to a universe of freshness seasoned by aromatic herbs. It is then alive and full of fruit. In the mouth it attacks with volume, a soft sphere surrounded by soft tannins slides for a long and fresh finish. Contains sulfites.

Some of the grapes were subjected to the traditional process of milling, while the rest were vinified in five-ton stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature and robotic reassembly. After the malolactic fermentation, all the wines were transferred to French Allier oak barrels where they remained for 18 months. 60% staged in new barrels, 40% in used barrels. Quinta do Vallado Reserva Field Blend has a very concentrated aroma, with balsamic notes of oak, fig and blackberry, tobacco. Flavor very full-bodied, fleshy with ripe and round tannins.
