The white grapes that make up this wine come from schist soil vineyards planted at an average altitude of 350 meters, with northeast exposure, between Freixo de Espada à Cinta and Barca d'Alva. Hand picking vintage. The grapes are slowly pressed, followed by fermentation at a temperature of 16ºC in French oak barrels with battonage. Aging for 6 months in French oak barrels and stainless steel vats with Battonage. Strong traces of minerality and citrus, with a light touch of wood caused by aging in French oak barrels. Crushing with total destemming, prolonged and smooth skin maceration, alcoholic fermentation at 26ºC, with cuvasion until malolactic completion. Aged for 18 months in French Oak barrels, 50% new and 50% second-use. The best 30 of 70 barrels were selected. 48 months of bottle aging. Intense garnet color with slight violet tones. Intense aroma with distinct complexity and a mix of fruity and tertiary notes. In the mouth it is fruity, soft, well structured, harmonious and with a distinct persistence. Contains sulfites.
