Pretexto is a Portuguese red wine produced with grapes from different vineyards in the Dão region. These grapes came 90% from Penalva do Castelo (Jaen, Alfrocheiro and Tinta Roriz) from vineyards at an altitude of 550-620 meters in quartz and clay soils and 10% from Vila Nova de Tazem (Touriga Nacional) from vineyards in soils of granite and at an altitude of 480-550 meters. All these vineyard plots are currently being converted to organic certification. It was fermented in stainless steel tanks with 30% whole bunch, followed by a 30-day cuvaison. The final batch aged in French oak vats (5000 L) and in barrels for 11 months. Naturally stabilized. With delicate aromas and lively red fruit character, the most evident being the cherry. The mouth accompanies the fruit combined with good acidity, some carbonic notes and a mentholated and balsamic profile. Casa da Passarella A Descoberta White

The mystery of the box found inside one of the walls of Casa da Passarella is finally solved. The story begins in 1942, when a box is hidden in one of the rooms of Casa da Passarella, containing a handwritten document with instructions to be opened 50 years later. The document also contained a last will: that all the values
stored in the box should be distributed ny the poor. The truth is that neither of these things happened. Only in 2010, when the Gouse suffered works, the box was found and opened. And there was nothing inside. The investigations went forward, without ever having unraveled the mystery. When resignation seemed to overcome persistence, a specialist in the unusual was called to the scene: " the box was indeed replete," explained Professor K.Noronha, "but not tangible, material things, an extraordinary essence that, reacting with the times to come, would bring happiness through wine to all who made art and profit. "Now, these times are already part of the present, and this is a double discovery". From the Dão region, Casa da Passarella A Descoberta White Wine has a rosemary aroma, saved with citrus fruits. A wine of great elegance with firm freshness. Contains Sulfites.

Fermentation started spontaneously and lasted approximately 20 days. It was transferred to a pitcher without the use of electricity. This wine has a red fruit aroma. Fresh, light and disconcerting wine. Harmonization and longevity: It is a challenge to gastronomy. It can be consumed immediately or in the next 5 to 10 years, as long as it is stored lying down in a cool, dry place, protected from light and without temperature fluctuations. Contains sulfites.
