Discover Quinta da Alameda Torreão Red, an exceptional wine produced with the Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro grape varieties, which reflect the identity and elegance of Dão red wines. Vinified using traditional methods, the grapes are harvested manually and subjected to careful maceration and fermentation. Part of the wine ages in used French oak barrels, acquiring complexity. This red has a light color, characteristic of the Alfrocheiro grape variety. On the nose, floral and forest notes merge with red fruits and bergamot from Touriga Nacional. The wood is subtle, with nuances of dried fruits. In the mouth, it is an elegant wine, with present but velvety tannins and an acidity that adds freshness. Intense and long lasting, Quinta da Alameda Torreão Red is a wine that enchants with its personality.

Organic wine: Manual harvest for small 15 kg perforated boxes, fermentation with cold technology, in a reductive environment, with controlled temperature around 16ºC. The grapes are pressed without crushing and without destemming under an inert atmosphere in order to preserve all the aromatic potential of the grapes. A great effort is made to ensure that all pre-fermentation operations are carried out with the utmost rigor, being responsible for the intrinsic quality of the future wine. The entire wine is fermented in used French oak and remains there after a small racking over fine lees with periodic “battonage” stirring until the final blend is made. 6 months in French oak barrels, fermentation and agitation stage with fine lees, coming from the very sandy Upper Douro granitic soil at an average altitude of 575 meters. It has a citrus and mineral aroma, grapefruit notes, discrete exotic fruits and country flowers. Very persistent and fresh mouth with very lively citrus notes, resulting in a very elegant set.

It is vinified in the Quinta da Leda winery, from grapes coming from plots located in Quinta da Leda and neighboring vineyards. Grapes with balanced maturation are chosen as a consequence of a favorable vegetative cycle. After destemming and soft crushing, the grapes are sent to stainless steel vats and/or mills, where prolonged macerations are carried out. It is intended with this technology that the constituents of quality, present in the ripe grapes, thus pass smoothly to the wine. Contains Sulfites.

With a pale pink color, Catarina Rosé is marked by scents of violets and forest fruits; in the mouth these aromatic sensations are enhanced and intense, which together with a good acidity, create a wine with an elegant, full, very mineral and fresh finish. Contains sulfites.
