Herdade dos Grous Red

After destemming and crushing, the grapes are pressed in pneumatic press with oxidation protection. Static decanting for 48 hours and alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels. Clear wine, straw color, aromas of apricot, lime and peach, with notes of toast from the barrel. Fresh, unctuous and structured, with notes of citrus, toasted barrel and persistent finish. The history of the wines of the Casas do Côro begins with the purchase of old vineyards with more than 80 years in Marialva and evolves it by planting 9 hectares of the best white grape varieties. Marialva is a fantastic terroir at 600 meters altitude between Beira Interior and the Douro. With a common origin in the Beira interior, they share a passion for the land where they were born, for their traditions, smells and aromas, and continue to believe and bet heavily on a territory they consider unique. Casas de Côro Red Wine Reserve has a red color with lots of personality and character, fresh but vibrant and still very young and a bit wild. Expressive, almost "violent" with strong aromas of olive, cherry and grove, super sexy tannins, good acidity and very long end of the mouth. Contains Sulfites.

An intense, elegant wine with volume. Beginning at the end of August, this harvest was the earliest ever harvested in Soalheiro, but it demonstrated an exceptional balance between the fruit and the acidity of the Alvarinhos of the unique terroir of Monção and Melgaço. Alvarinho grapes without late harvest were harvested in small capacity boxes and transported to the winery in a short period of time. The must obtained by pressing the whole grapes was decanted and fermented at low temperature. The fermentation took place in stainless steel until reaching the balance of sweetness and acidity intended and that dictated the final alcohol of this Soalheiro - 9%. Citrus and tropical notes of the Alvarinho variety with a balance of unusual acidity and sweetness. Contains Sulfites.

The Soalheiro Mineral Rose can be enjoyed as an excellent and relaxed aperitif, very adapted to the current tendency to consume wine by the glass, but also proves perfect to harmonize with lighter dishes such as salads, fish or seafood. One of the great concerns of the Soalheiro is to produce "wines to drink with pleasure", believing in the quality and tendency to appreciate wines with a more moderate alcohol. This Soalheiro Mineral Rose manages to have persistence due to Pinot Noir and elegance due to Alvarinho with moderate alcohol of 12%. To Alvarinho produced in high altitude vineyards where the caste has a more intense, fresh and mineral dimension, the Soalheiro has joined the Pinot Noir variety, also produced in the region and which presents a more aromatic and elegant dimension. In this way, a wine emerges at the same time aromatic and fresh, with a mineral end of mouth, and at the same time very greedy. Contains Sulfites.
