After malolactic fermentation the wines were tranferred separately to new barrels (60%) and 4 years (40%) of French oak, where they trained for about 12 months until the final batch. After bottling, a temperature controlled stage of 15ºC is followed for 6 months in order to achieve the appropriate balance for its consumption. To preserve its great quality, it was bottled without treatment by the cold and without glue so that a slight deposit can form in the bottle. The elegance and balance of the Herdade do Peso Essência 2014 make this wine the perfect accompaniment to the tasty meat dishes of the rich Alentejo gastronomy.

Barca Velha 2015 Red is the pinnacle of Douro wines, representing elegance, character, and longevity. Produced by Casa Ferreirinha, this wine presents a deep ruby color and a captivating, intense, and complex aroma. It features notes of black fruit, spices, balsamic, cedar, olive leaf, and tobacco box, creating a unique and sophisticated bouquet.
On the palate, Barca Velha 2015 offers a powerful, structured attack, with vibrant acidity and lively tannins that provide freshness and persistence. Its spice and red fruit notes lead to a long, refined finish, typical of a great Douro wine. The blend includes Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Sousão, and a small percentage of Tinta Roriz, sourced from Quinta da Leda and other carefully selected vineyards.

Vicentino Gama Nascente Syrah Red

Fermentation in stainless steel vats where the treading is done with a treading robot for 8 days at a temperature of 26ºC. The aging takes place in used French oak barrels for 10 months. The red wine that most reflects the perfect symbiosis between the Atlantic, the soils and the vineyards is Vicentino Syrah. In the vineyards of Vicentino, the proximity to the ocean reveals a unique side of the Syrah variety. Introductory notes of blackcurrant and graphite combined with some vegetable, extend into a long tasting with a saline finish. Contains sulfites.
Pequenos Rebentos Selvagem White

Made from a “Vinha de Forcado” planted in 1932, located in Amarante, a viticulture system that grows through the trees and reaches almost 7 meters in height. The harvest is done with ladders.
After manual harvesting, with the help of ladders, and transport to the cellar in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed, bag by bag, to a small mill, trodden on foot and then fermented in an amphora with
indigenous yeasts. This was followed by light pressing and aging with the total lees in used barrels.
