Manual harvest with careful selection of bunches, followed by fermentation in new 500 liters French oak barrels. After 6 months of aging with "battonage" on fine lees, the result is a fresh, structured and unctuous white wine.
Greenish-yellow in color, clear and bright, it reveals fresh aromas of citrus peel wrapped in green and spicy notes, on a complex background of field herbs and wild flowers. In the mouth, it is dry, with refined acidity, highlighting touches of orange, white plum and subtle dried fruit, such as macadamia. An intriguing and endless Alentejo white.

The harvested grapes were selected from the vineyard and then introduced into the vats with 40% destemmed and 60% whole bunches, allowing the extraction of color and aroma compounds more smoothly during 2 weeks of alcoholic fermentation entirely in stainless steel vats, having completed the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. After 12 months in a French Oak Balseiro preceded by a stage of more than 40 years of Cognac. Manual harvest. Grapes transported in pallets. Maceration in small mills at a temperature between 24 and 26ºC. Use of gravity techniques for grape movement. Aging for 22 months in new French oak casks. This is the first wine from the old vineyard plot (M7) of Quinta dos Muros. The wine that determined that this parcel should be preserved. It is the result of 27 varieties, and a lot of care and passion throughout the process. A red that deserves attention when you have it in the glass. Contains sulfites.

Organic Wine: Fermentation and aging with agitation of fine lees in 500 Lts of French Oak barrels. Granitic soil of the Douro Superior, very sandy at an average altitude of 575 meters. Manual harvest for small 15 kg perforated boxes. The grapes are pressed without crushing and without destemming under an inert atmosphere in order to preserve all the aromatic potential of the grapes. A great effort is made so that all pre-fermentation operations are carried out within the strictest rigor, being responsible for the intrinsic quality of the future wine while preserving the primary aromas. Mineral and citrus aroma of grapefruit and exotic fruits, with discrete barrel notes well integrated. Very persistent and fresh mouth with citric notes and very lively acidity, in harmony with fat and well structured notes of the barrel aging, allowing to foresee longevity.

After skin contact and pressing, the clean wort was fermented in French oak barrels. After fermentation, the wine aged in the barrels for 4 months with batonage. It has a bright yellow citrus color, fruity citrus / tropical aroma (pineapple), great minerality and a slight note of toast.
