Château La Fleur-Pétrus 2011 Red
244,08 €
A medium ruby color is followed by a live nose of sweet kirsch, raspberries, flowers and notes of dusty and solitary soil. This fantastically scented 2011 is medium bodied, quintessentially elegant and loaded with flavor. Obviously the Moueixs devoted considerable time and money to updating this terroir, as recent wines were among the most impressive wines I have ever tasted from La Fleur-Petrus. This relatively advanced 2011 Pomerol should drink well for 10-15 years. Contains Sulfites.

The grapes were harvested manually and transported in small boxes to the cellar where they were stored in a cold chamber at 3°C for 24 hours. They were then selected and gently pressed. The must was cold decanted (10°C) and then fermented in French oak barrels. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine aged for 6 months in barrels with battonage and sur lie. Crystalline wine, with greenish yellow tones, fruity aroma with notes of yellow plum and pineapple. In the mouth, it has an excellent volume, dense but with good refreshing acidity.

Monte da Ravasqueira Nero D’Avola Red
14,68 €
Nero d'Avola is one of the most important castes in Italy. Originally from southern Sicily, it arrived at Monte da Ravasqueira by the hand of its founder José Manuel de Mello in the incessant search of the indifferent exploration of the terroir and the production of atypical and challenging wines. In the harvest of 2012 this wish was interpreted, giving rise to a unique and rare wine in Portugal that maintains the original characteristics but which expresses well the unique freshness and mineral character of our grapes.
100% Nero d'Avola, Ravasqueira Nero d'Avola 2012 wine proved to be precocious and fast maturing. Acidity, aromatic intensity and density of tannins are the adjectives that best characterize this year's grapes. Manually harvested and subject to a lowering of the temperature before vinification.
Incarnate color alive and intense. Nose complex, closed in need of decanting. Slight notes of eucalyptus, varied peppers, floral and with intense notes of cherry. The test is full and elegant. High density of fine tannins in balance with mineral acidity, fleshy and light vegetable. Contains Sulfites.
Chão da Quinta Signature Red
28,00 €
It is a wine of concentrated color, expresses brilliant violet nuances. The aroma has high fineness with notes of ripe plum and blackberry complexed with soft menthol notes and fine spices. The flavor is velvety and intense, great, with the presence of rich and silky tannins. With a complex and harmonious structure, it reveals a unique minerality combined with a long finish. The wine is fine, exquisite bouquet and long persistence, great for drinking already but that will evolve very well in the bottle. Contains Sulfites.
